Paros Yoga Shalla invites you to explore the transformational benefits of yoga moving through slow flowing asana sequences while integrating chakra work, meditation and self- observation in practice. Morning explorations of meditation and pranayama, are followed by gentle Vinyasa (optional), Hatha and Yin yoga in the evenings, Mantra and Yoga Nidra. A thirteen days purification process to bring physical strength, vital harmony, mental clarity, emotional balance and overall renewal. Sessions are developed according to the individuals needs and body-type. A practice to take home.
You will be staying at Villa Amatista. Amatista Retreat is an inspiring and tranquil haven in the unspoiled countryside and vineyards of La Geria Natural Park. With its centralised location, Villa Amatista is a perfect base for exploring this magical island. The secluded country setting and Amatista's excellent facilities make it a wonderful place for peaceful holidays. The villa has 6 small houses, studios and one Yurt. It can accommodate up to 20 people.
Enjoy the opportunity to develop a personal Vinyasa practice to take away, to delve into Yin yoga and much more, benefit from Irana's intelligent adjustments and clear teaching.
Yoga sessions are breath inspired meditative and rejuvenating practices. The emphasis of the class is on alignment, breath and meditation. In every class, you will learn to flow creatively through sequences of Vinyasa to create full body transformation; strength and fluidity, circulation and centering. Daily morning practice will take 2 hours and evening practice for 90 minutes.
After breakfast, you can go for a day trip - enjoy nature and explore the island. Lunch and dinner are not included on Sunday.
You can also book personal yoga sessions during the retreat as well as personalized wellness sessions of other kinds to support you in reaching a specific health goal.
Irana Ji An
Irana Ji An Fouroulis is a senior yoga teacher who has been teaching yoga for more than a decade and living and practicing yoga for more than 20 years. She is the founder, owner, and director of Paros Yoga Shala and Paros Yoga Retreats and Workshops. Irana has dwelt in different lineages of yoga (Sivananda, Ashtanga, Hatha, Anusara, Jivamukti, Bhakti Flow, Prana, Vinyasa, Yin, therapeutics, and Integral) throughout her yoga-life journey. She is also a master meditation teacher and a pregnancy and kids yoga teacher. Irana focuses on chakra work, mantra, pranayama, yoga Nidra, and meditation.

From the airport take the motorway in the direction of "Arrecife"
Take the first exit to "Playa Honda"
At the first mini roundabout take the second exit and keep straight parallel to the motorway
At the next big roundabout take the third exit under the motorway
Go straight over the next roundabout and follow the signs to "San Bartolomé"
After passing through “San Bartolomé” you come to a roundabout, on the other side of which is the tall white “Monumento del Campesino” (one of the first works of Cesar Manrique showing clearly the influence of Picasso and Cubism). Take the second exit to “Tinajo and Mozaga”
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit to "Tinajo”
Pass through the village of “Tao” ,
And then through the village of “Tiagua”
Here you will find an excellent Supermarket on your right
As you exit the village of “Tiagua” keep left towards “Mancha Blanca” and “Timanfaya”
“%La Vegueta” is the next village
1 kilometer further you will arrive at the crossroads in the village of “La Vegueta”
You will see a small football pitch on your left and a local shop with a yellow letter box on your right
After 400 meters on your right there is a large very pink house set back from the road. After 20 meters, where the road starts to go down slightly, turn left into “Camino las Huertitas” – the sign is not very visible
After another 400 meters just before the white wall of the first house on this road turn right where you see an “Amatista” sign with an arrow on it (If you miss that turn you will end up in a Cul-de-sac)
Follow the road up, and around to the left another 500 meters. On your left before the end of this road you will see first the number 9 and shortly afterwards the number 11 with the entrance sign for Villa Amatista. If you go around another corner you have come too far.
