Join Panterra Eco Expeditions on board the MV Adventure, as you take on a journey to the Sea of Cortez. Panterra thoughtfully designed this retreat as an all encompassing experience in physical, mental, and spiritual heath with guidance from healers of different disciplines. The trip will end with an ancient Aztec cleansing ritual called temazcal, held in a mud adobe similar to a sweat lodge.

The Adventure is La Paz’s newest charter boat surpassing any other ship in its category. Originally built as a day cruiser, the Adventure underwent a live aboard conversion and started its international dive operation in September of 2011. What makes this ship unique and stand out among its competition is the professional input of its owners.
The owners are engineers and ship builders with 15 years of building, owning, and successfully operating charter boats in Cabo, San Lucas. It is with great pride that Panterra and the ship owners have partnered up to offer guests from around the world the best the Sea of Cortez has to offer.
The upper deck is ideal for wildlife viewing, relaxing with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and watching sunrises and sunsets in general group gatherings. Half the upper deck is covered so guests can be sheltered from the sun. The other half is not covered so guests can enjoy the sun.
One of the two accesses to the wheelhouse can be found forward of the upper deck. The bow offers a spacious area for a spectacular view of the sea and wildlife. Comfortable seating provides for a relaxing experience while underway. The companionway allows easy access to the bathrooms, showers, salon, and stern.
There are two separate bathroom facilities, one set for men and one set for women. Three showers are conveniently located in each bathroom facility. The salon is spacious, comfortable, and inviting. The entertainment area offers the comfort of home with a flat screen television that you can use to review the photos of the day.
The aft deck is designed for diving and snorkeling with benches and storage bins for guests. Thoughtfully designed to accommodate the needs of divers, snorkelers, and beachcombers, the swim grid also features two dive ladders. Steps away from the aft deck leading down to the swim grid makes it easy for getting on and off the ship, ideally designed for divers and snorkelers.
The stairs lead from the main deck salon to the lower deck cabins. Each stateroom bunk has its own reading lamp, plug in, and the mattresses are made of memory foam. The staterooms come equipped with air conditioning, sink, vanity, drawers, and cupboards for unpacking your suitcase.

Before heading out to the sea, you will spend a night and a day celebrating the Day of the Dead in La Paz.
Each day, you will have yoga sessions on the upper deck of the ship as well as hiking, snorkeling, and more.

Collect crystals to be blessed and presented to the children and families of the pediatric oncology department of the local La Paz hospital.
The expedition healers and yoga instructor will end the expedition with a temazcal under the guidance of guest indigenous healer, Antonio Cervantes.
Upon arrival, the drivers will pick you up at Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) or Manuel Márquez de León International Airport (LAP) and transfer you to Seven Crown Hotel in La Paz. Anticipate a beautiful two and a half-hour drive from the airport. Later tonight, you will enjoy dinner and introduction to the Festival de Días de Muertos or Day of the Dead.
Enjoy the day exploring La Paz and celebrating the Festival de Días de Muertos. At 17:00, you will board the ship, MV Adventure and set sail for the islands.
This day marks the beginning of your adventure at sea. The islands to be explored include Isla Espiritu Santos, Isla Partida, Isla San Francisco, Isla San Jose, and Isla Pardito. Enjoy various activities while on board the ship like yoga, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, collecting crystals, cultural interaction, visits to remote island communities, wildlife encounters with sea lions, whales and dolphins, birds, and desert island flora and fauna, snorkeling with whale sharks, hospital visit and presentation of crystals and gifts, and temazcal.
At 09:00, disembark and head to the pediatric oncology department of the social services hospital in La Paz. You will be holding a blessing and prayer meeting with the presentation of the crystals to the pediatric oncology patients. From the hospital, you will be leading to a hotel in San Jose del Cabo where you will check in for a two-night stay.
The afternoon will be spent engaged in the Temazcal under the guidance of the guest indigenous healer, Antonio Cervantes.
This day is the hotel check out and end of the expedition. The drivers will return you to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD).

However, his specialty is Mexican cuisine and each day offers fresh meats, vegetables, fruits, and flavors from around the world.
