This is the first step to becoming a yoga teacher and it is important that students have been practicing yoga for a minimum of two years. The curriculum has been devised by Julia Gavin, who has been leading and training yoga teachers for almost eight years, certifying over 100 advanced yoga teachers during the last four years and over 200 new yoga teachers. Julia has developed a 200-hour curriculum that brings together traditional alignment, functional movement, and dynamic flows.

A self-confessed anatomy geek, she has an acute understanding of the anatomy of yoga and how to develop a safe and intelligent practice. Having lived and trained in India, the course sets out to introduce students to the traditional Indian practice of Ayurveda. You will be able to recognize imbalance and how to rectify in terms of diet, lifestyle choices, and yoga. This is a unique element of the 200-hour yoga teacher training course. With an onsite Ayurvedic spa, students can take advantage of Ayurvedic treatments to supplement the training.
