Included excursions

Iztuzu beach excursion and a visit to the turtle hospital. The water is warm and shallow, so still ok to swim in December. Although not many turtles need to be rescued during December, there is sadly always some to see and also a very informative trip and a chance to donate to the protection and conservation.

Retreat location

Palace Gokbel is set in the most beautiful location, nestled in a pine forest, up a small mountain with stunning panoramic views of the beach, lakes, and mountains. From the retreat, the nearest shop is a 25-minute walk away, the beach is five kilometers, about an 80-minute walk, and Dalyan is six kilometers.
