Organic Yoga Greece invites you to enjoy a Greek Pilates/Yoga vacation near the beach of Skala Kalloni, where you will feel completely nurtured. Their classes and serene surroundings will help to replenish your energy. Joining their classes will support your physical and spiritual well-being with mindfulness at the core of each practice.
The accommodation where you will stay at is Pasiphae Hotel. It has a beautiful swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. Its surrounded by a garden where you will have your morning practice. The rooms have a balcony overlooking the garden with palm trees. Every room has a private bathroom, a fridge, air conditioner, Wi-Fi, locker, hairdryer, and a television.
The hotel lobby has a small library and computer. The breakfast area is a buffet with free coffee and tea. Outside you can sit on a cozy terrace to enjoy your breakfast. Your lunch and dinners are separated from the other hotel guests. The cook will prepare meals, you never forget.
Hatha yoga is a Yang form of yoga. In Hatha yoga you take different postures, Asana's, in which all muscles in the body are used. It makes you strong and loan. It makes you aware of tensions in your body. Tension causes obstruction in motion and reduces blood flow in muscles and organs. By loosening tension and by consciously breathing, you will notice that emotions and stress are left loose. A stronger sense of mental balance arises. A Hatha yoga class ends with Pranayama, consciously breathing.
Yin yoga postures are more passive postures, mainly on the floor. You're asked to relax in the posture for a longer period. It's a more meditative approach with a physical focus. As one ages, flexibility in the joints and muscles decreases and Yin yoga is a wonderful way to maintain flexibility. The intimate practice of yoga requires students to be ready to become intimate with themselves, their feelings, sensations and emotions.
Mind-walk is meditative walking with influences from yoga, tai chi, and mindfulness. It balances your body, mind and soul and puts your two feet down to earth. A Mind-walk takes about an hour till one and a half hours.
There are 5 days with classes and 1 day excursion.

Mirjam studied dance at the Dance Academie in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. She got her masters degree in dance teaching and danced in several productions as a modern and show dancer. After 35 years of teaching and a burn out it was time for a change. She did her teacher training at Yoga Garden in Amsterdam. The Pilates teacher training with Debbie Jenner. Her Shihatsu massage therapy at the Institute for Shihatsu, Academie Qing-Bai.
Andy has been practicing Yoga for over 25 years and teaching for the last 13 years. His own personal Yoga Journey has encompassed Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga styles and has taken him to around the world to study, practice and teach Yoga. Andy is a Certified Yoga teacher holding the E-RYT certification and also holds the John Scott Yoga 500 Hr Teacher Training certification. Andy has taught workshops and retreats in the UK, Spain, France, Italy, India and Nepal. As a teacher and a practicing Life Coach Andy understands and respects the needs of the individual student.
Gudrun Ranftl is a certified yoga teacher by the Hatha method of B.K.S. IYENGAR ®. Her 3 year teacher training included 700 hours of yoga practice and a well-grounded study in anatomy and philosophy at the studio of the world wide respected teacher Clé Souren in Amsterdam. Since 2011 she has been teaching regularly in her studio in Frankfurt, Germany. Since then she has kept up her own practice with excellent Iyengar yoga teachers worldwide (alphabetical order): Birjoo Mehta, Clé Souren, Delilah King, Doug Keller, Gulnaaz Dashti, Ingela Abbott, Katrin Feuerbach, Laurie Blakeney, Manouso Manos,
Anna is a Certified Yoga Teacher E-RYT 500. She received her spiritual name Jayanti from Guru Swami Niranjananda Saraswati of the Bihar School of Yoga in 2006. She has been practicing Yoga for over 20 years and teaching for the last 12 years. Her own personal Yoga Journey has encompassed Hatha, Yin, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga styles and has taken her to travel around Spain where she now lives, to teach Yoga. Pasiphae Hotel is situated on the coast in the center of Lesvos. Just 500 meters from the traditional fishing town of Skala Kallonis, Pasiphae Hotel is an ideal location from where one can set off on various activities and travel around the island.
Kalloni consists of seven villages, which are Anemotia, Skalohori, Philia, Parakila, Skala Kallonis, Papiana, Kerami, Argiana, Dafia, and Arisvi, is situated in the center of the island. At the holy Monastery of Limonos, is the first school for clerics and at the holy Monastery of Panayias Myrsiniotissas, the first school for women, unique in Greece. The whole area belongs to the National Park with flamingos and lots of birds. Even in summer, you can make circular walks and trackings. Nature is overwhelming.
Pasiphae Hotel is serving a breakfast buffet. Three lunches and three dinners are also included in the full package. Our cook Ilan is making everything with love. Greek, Indonesian, Italian, vegetarian and non vegetarian. If you have allergies or you need adjustments, tell it our cook. We support the locals by buying their products.
During breakfast buffet, there’s unlimmited coffee, tea and lemonade.
Hiking on Lesvos is always an adventure. There is so much to see and so much to enjoy, there are some beautiful and interesting walks - short and long – in different regions of the island. Hiking on Lesvos is possible at any time of the year – all seasons have their beauty.
The hikes lead you through unspoiled countryside, through shady pine forests, to beautiful beaches and to places with fantastic views. You will be shown local and sometimes unique flora and fauna, beautiful villages, churches and monasteries, tavernas with tasty local food, and all the little secret places known from the local people.
For the children, the animals will be a great pleasure, including deer, lamas, goats, chickens and birds. Even a parrot is welcoming you each morning saying "kalimera". For relaxation you can go to the swimming pool. There is a pool table, tennis court, and a small bar. Childcare is provided during classes.

Please book your flight to arrive at Mytilene International Airport (MJT). Transfer from and to airport is available upon request for an additional cost of 50 EUR. The distance from the airport to the hotel is about 50 kilometers.
There are many direct and indirect flights to Lesbos on Mytilene International Airport (MJT). Its also possible to fly to Athens and take the ferry to Lesbos. The ferry trip is 10 hours and you need to reserve tickets in advance.
