Dragonfly Village is only footsteps away from center Ubud, but tucked away from its hassles and bustles, so the best of both worlds is offered. The structures are mostly recycled wood and traditional antique teak houses brought over from remote villages in Java. There is also a pool and a sauna for your winding down, after a day of activity and learning.

You will be staying in century old antique bungalows which are perfect for your rest and rejuvenation. Rooms have king size beds, but alternative sleeping arrangements can be made if you do not wish to sleep in the same bed, sometimes known as the "tantric way". Each room has an open yet attached mud-built bathroom so you can live indoors and partially out. They come equipped with eco-shampoo, soap, and insect repellent. Fans are also available, but Ubud is usually colder at nights.

While mediation and yoga hold the outline to this retreat, the deeper, possibly more arousing element is that you will be giving attention to the ancient practices, rituals, and massage techniques of tantra. The three levels of tantra are the foundation of this retreat, going deeper each day as to what and how you use energy to move into intimate spaces.

You will learn how to purify and sublimate your energy for energy control and the development of the ability to move and surrender in each moment.

You will learn technique, but you will also learn the art of intuiting into the needs of the person you are giving to; when to act and when to allow. The process of subliming lower sexual energies upwards is a rewarding focus, reminding you of your connection with the source.

You will learn how the combination of great physical and mental development can bring you closer to being able to move into the moments of bliss you cherish in your heart and in your abundant life.

The retreat will be perfect if you are looking to balance your masculine and feminine elements, become more in-tune with the subtler energies that can heal, transform, attract, and learn what a tantric way of life can mean for you.

You will completely immerse yourself in yoga and meditation, as well as tantra outside of external influences with a focus on yourself, body, mind, and spirit.

Tantric massage

The massage element of the retreat includes:

  • Teachings of pressure points to induce sexual opening.
  • Appropriate timing of the massage on the body for both men and women.
  • Communication techniques which can make the difference in the trust level and overall experience for the receiver.
  • Pleasure response induction.
  • Ways to move energy into the higher centres of the body while performing techniques in tantric massage.
  • A combination of Lomi Lomi, Chi Nei Tsang, Karsai Nei Tsang, Psoas release, and craniosacral modalities. If you are a man you will learn the art of yoni massage. If you are a woman you will learn lingam massage in a gentle and guided manner.

The massage will invite rituals of purification and healing to the body, to open pathways in the chakric system and to open the heart. You will learn tools for communication with the person and how to touch consciously, as well as ways that deepen your meditative awareness and connection with yourself and your partner.

The yoga and meditation will allow you to move in between the physical, emotional, and energetic gifts that come with the permission given to touch the body intimately. By the end of the retreat, you will know how to generate, move, and harness energy from the genitals to nourish the rest of the body.

Satyama Lasby

Satyama Lasby is a disciple of Osho Rajneesh having lived and worked in the Osho International Centre for Meditation in India in 2009. She has trained in the discipline of tantra since 2003, studying under the influences of Agama Yoga, Margot Anand, David Deida, and the Tao tantric practices and sexual chi gong techniques of Mantak Chia in Chiang Mai.

Those experiencing her workshops report to enjoy the exploration of the potentiality of relationships, intimacy and understanding of co-dependency. She facilitates non-judgemental human experiences in tantra and meditation out of the wish to share her interest in growing through our interconnectivity as human beings. Her work moves participants into living a more present and open life. The various techniques and healing methods that she works with supports men and women in their processes and “tantric evolvement”.

She is trained in several types of massage therapy, including Swedish, LomiLomi, Chakra balancing, Chi Nei Tsang and Tantric massage for men. She is a trainer in the Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal massage) technique as a way of releasing tension in the belly, overcoming headache, digestive, menstrual and fertility issues. This work lays the foundation for Karsai Nei Tsang (genital) purification and healing work, often renowned by tantrics as the beginning point of experiencing true freedom, pleasure and bliss.

Satyama is an internationally experienced tantra, meditation and yoga teacher with work presented in Thailand, Bali and Canada. She has taught nine yoga teacher trainings in the hatha/vinyasa style of yoga.

Urmas is a tantric practitioner from Tallinn, Estonia. For the past six years, he has been specializing in teaching the practice of tantra massage, lingam, and yoni. He has been working with massage therapy for almost 20 years and has recently added marma massage to his skill repertoire. "I had a great week of intense feelings. The mediation and the yoga were very pleasurable and good to start the day with. From the massage part, I learned a lot, especially Taoist techniques. The lingam massage technique was already quite familiar to me through my work."

"Satyama is a gem! In the yoga retreat I just attended, I really got to know her as a person, not just a yoga teacher. She is strong yet kind, intuitive and able to tell it like it is. A great yoga teacher and also Osho Therapist I believe. She knows how to lead a group in and out of all of our stuff, leaving us more free to be who we are! She knows how special we all are as well! "

"Satyama is a kind and soulful practitioner. I was in a lot of emotional pain at the time and her abdominal massage helped ground me; it brought me out of the chaos of my head into my body again. Chi Nei Tsang is pretty intense, and I highly recommend trying it out. The positive inner shift is worth it. "
