During the retreat, you will stay at Terzo di Danciano. It is a charming 18th century villa with a marvelous view overlooking a valley on the border between Umbria and Tuscany.

The building has large and beautiful rooms with en suite bathrooms. It has bright and spacious rooms, tastefully furnished, comfortable and inviting, with windows that look onto the Pierle Valley (Val di Pierle), in the Cortona area. Natural pigments have been used in the frescoes and restful color on the walls which put everyone in a good mood and are conducive to sound sleep and sweet dreams.

Many original features showing the passage of time have been retained during the restoration of the property. The restoration achieved over many years of loving dedication. There is a private pool in the garden, furnished with sun chairs, umbrellas and gazebos, a kitchen with a veranda in the garden, a wood-burning oven for pizzas, and barbecues.

Ong Namo Kundalini Yoga Retreat Italy Program

This retreat is accessible to beginners as well as advanced yogis. You do not need to have any experience of Kundalini yoga or meditation as everything will be thoroughly explained to you on the first day. For those who have had experience in Kundalini yoga, you will find yourself reaching the next level of elevation on this course.

Kundalini yoga

Kundalini yoga is a yoga of awareness. It has the physical aspect of Ashtanga and Hatha yoga, mantra aspect of Laya and Mantra yoga, and meditation aspect of Raj yoga. It entails the philosophy of Karma yoga, enhances the dedication of Bhakti yoga, and strengthens the inner wisdom of Gyan yoga.

Kundalini yoga originates from India. It is a practice of the householder who lives in the modern society and has to face the challenges of this era day after day. Nowadays, Kundalini yoga is taught all over the world and the teacher training program is supervised by Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) and Healthy, Happy, and Holy Organization (3HO).

Sample daily schedule

  • 07:30 Morning Kundalini yoga class
  • 08:30 Breakfast, followed by free time (private energy healing sessions available upon request)
  • 13:00 Lunch, followed by free time
  • 18:00 Evening yoga healing session: yoga, meditation, energy work, and discussion
  • 19:30 Dinner

On the arrival and departure days, there will only be one-hour of yoga. Friday will be reserved for day trips. Private energy healing sessions and Italian lessons are available upon request.


Sach Amrit Kaur (Riikka Kaipainen)
Sach Amrit Kaur (Riikka Kaipainen) is a KRI certified Kundalini yoga teacher and a translator of English and Italian.
Sach Amrit Singh (Joakim Kaipainen)
Sach Amrit Singh (Joakim Kaipainen) is a KRI certified Kundalini yoga teacher. He has been teaching spiritual development courses since 2005. He has a wide experience of various healing and meditation techniques.

You will be served daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the retreat. The foods are locally sourced from the market gardens which are fully produced all year round: artichokes and asparagus in the spring, tomatoes and eggplants in August, figs in September, and the olives finally mature in early November. The seasonal maturation gives a unique taste to the food, full of life, and precious elements for your body.

How to get there

Driving direction from San Francesco d'Assisi Airport (PEG)

  • Take the Highway E45 towards Cesena.
  • Turn off at Umbertide - Gubbio and follow signs to Umbertide (left). When you get to the center of Umbertide after 5 kilometers, follow the sign to Città di Castello.
  • When you get to Niccone, turn left (Cortona, Tuoro, Mercatale) and drive for 14 kilometers.
  • You will go by the small villages of Molino Vitelli, Spedalicchio, and S. Andrea di Sorbello.
  • After 3 kilometers, pass S. Andrea Sorbello and follow the sign Seano on the right hand side. Take it easy as the turning point is at the end of a curve.
  • After the turn off, the road goes uphill (most of the time it is a dirt track). After 800 meters, you will arrive at Terzo di Danciano.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi Airport (PEG). Transfer from and to the airports is available upon request.

Arrival by train

Take the train to arrive at Terentola train station. The ride from the station to the retreat venue will take about 30 minutes.

Cancellation Policy

  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 2 days before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
