You will be immersed in Ayurvedic and yoga practices designed to reawaken your senses enabling you to flow in harmony with the universe as you recover your underlying true nature and radiant disposition. The retreat is designed for all levels of experience and appropriate and safe options will be given when necessary. All are welcomed and nurtured, enabling each participant to fulfill their potential.
<strong>Unique personalized yoga style</strong>
The teacher will guide you through a unique personalized Ayurvedic yoga style practice in the morning where you will learn to feel your deepest connection to nature with a more dynamic, hatha flow class incorporating pranayama, chakra balancing and meditation. The afternoon practice will be more restorative and yin-based with meditation and yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a deep meditative practice which can be used for transformation, healing and creating balance in all areas of your life. An optional Ayurvedic seminar will also be offered.
Ayurveda (the science of life) is the 5,000 year old healing tradition of India is founded on the principle that health is more than the absence of disease but rather a dynamic integrated state of balance in body, mind and spirit. It uses special foods, seasonal lifestyle tips, massage, yoga and herbal remedies as part of its regime to help you stay optimally healthy. Ayurveda encourages us to seek experiences that are harmonizing to our senses so we can learn to minimize toxic input and maximize nourishing experiences into our bodies and mind.
