Join One Breath of Yoga Ashram in the Mayan jungle where they run private and personalized retreats of Ashtanga yoga and plant medicine. The retreat is aimed to help people in their process of transformation and self-realization. It is designed to facilitate opportunities to dive deep into inner work, healing, and reconnecting with true self and joy.
The ashram offers two rooms that can welcome one or two guests (couple) in each room.
One Breath of Yoga Ashram offers daily asanas and meditation classes taught by a highly experienced teacher. You will also have many options that may include rituals and ceremony practices held by amazing shamanic guides.
Mornings will be dedicated to asana practice and some pranayama. After the practice, you will be served a superfood shake for breakfast. Then, you will have free time for the beach or to visit the village.
The afternoons will be for meditation or special events. You will end the day with three services of raw / vegan food. Some nights will be dedicated to special activities or ceremonies in which participation is optional.
The ashram is located in the jungle and One Breath of Yoga Ashram asks you to be respectful of nature and all other beings. They ask their guests to practice ahimsa (non-violence), and also to be respectful of the process of other guests. Silence or low voice conversations are very welcome and appreciated.
Born in Canada, Corinne (Coco) started to practice yoga more than 20 years ago after the birth of her son. With a background in both practicing and teaching ballet and contemporary dance for more than 16 years, Corinne warmed up to yoga easily. For her, yoga became much more than a physical practice; she felt very soon the connection between body, mind, and soul. Coco's mission is to share a new lifestyle living to aim to be a better person and care for the planet.
With over 13 years of experience in medicine and holistic therapies all around the world, Pamela formed her offerings through the teachings of her many different guides and masters. Interested in both traditional lineages and alternative Western healers, her studies include walking the red path, working with the Santo Daime Church, and learning from Shipibo and Quechua masters in Peru.
