"Excellent time out from the daily stress "
Everything was just great in this Yoga retreat one week holiday.
The host is super friendly, forthcoming and a great cook.
The yoga teacher very emphatic and adjusting to the needs and expectation of the participants.
And the massage was great too.
The apartment is simple but clean and sufficient. It is close to the beach.
Daily trips possible to close cities, or just a hiking tour on the rocks along the sea.
I will definitely visit this place again.

"Couldn't be a better guest house for my first trip"
Where I can start. It was my first time to do a travel like this. First time of everything, alone, Portugal, yoga retreat and surfing. The outcome is perfect only.
The guest house has a very calm and with a lovely charm. Clean and family. Liliana, Suse and Marta treat you professional, but with a feeling, you would be like a friend! The house has a perfect place next to an cliff and the beach. The view every eve, was amazing.
The organisation of surf and yoga was very very good (especially the room next to the cliffs) Tomè gave us a very interesting and exciting e-bike tour, with funny insights of his hometown:) his massage was a perfect relaxing after a lot of cool surf and yoga sessions. The yoga was very great and I learned a of new poses! (thx to Katya ;) All people there were very nice, open minded and in the end, we were kind of a little family together.
At least the food! I am not a vegetarian and I was afraid that could bit too less food for all activities there. But it was just ”wow”. The desserts were just crazy delicious and every day we got a lovely breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would pay for all receipes 😁
In the end, just can't compare it with other guest houses. But it is not needed to do, it was the perfect first Portugal travel for me and hope to come back one time again!
Stay healthy guys.

Perfect retreat with amazing versatile vegetarian food. Amazing welcome. The bedroom was clean and very well decorated. Katya was a very good yoga teacher adapting herself to our requests. And Progress surf school teachers were passionate. Do the bike tour, it's worth it!

I genuinely enjoyed everything. The guesthouse is a family run business, so it's very cosy and welcoming. The yoga lessons were very good, we had 3 different teachers during my stay, which for me is a bonus, as a beginner I could experience different styles. We had lessons at the cliff, 5 minutes from the guesthouse and at shala with Ocean view a couple of times.
The surf lessons also were amazing. The instructors were supportive and very funny! I was quite intimidated by the ocean but they sensed it and were always there to help me out and to cheer me on.
The back massage was the cherry on the cake, after an intense week.
Everything was very clean and well mantained. The house itself is pretty and just five minutes from the beach.
But my favourite part was the food: It was G R E A T! I was always looking forward for the next meal. As a vegan, sometimes it's a bit of a struggle when it comes to travelling. Ondina instead serves nutrious, beautifully presented and delicious food. Loved it! And the desserts... just yummy!
And above all, the retreat is a great value for money.
I rented a car for the week and suggest it if you want to stroll around and explore the area and other beaches.

"Good vibes and great people"
Had an amazing time at Ondina’s. Everyone does a super good job and they take really good care of their guests.
The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing and hosts as well as guests are always in a good mood.
And last but not least: Liliana‘s food is fantastic!

"A good place to stay"
They are always very friendly and ready to assist where needed. I felt very welcome, from the first moment on.
The rooms are clean and cosy, also a lot of space in the private rooms. They organized the surf classes, so you didn't have to worry about that. The food was excellent! They managed to provide me with an alternative every time, because I am allergic to some foods. And the massage was also a very welcome moment of relaxation. It was that good, that I immediately booked a second one as well!

"Recommended retreat specially for surfing and relaxing."
Ondina Guest House offers you a peaceful stay. Liliana’s vegan food is amazing and Tome’s massages too. Yoga classes were not as expected but Liliana searched a fast solution. Sao Lourenço beach is beautiful and quiet and surfer classes with Progress school were really helping a lot and funny as well.

I had an unforgettable experience at Ondina Guest House, a true home away from home! The staff is really exceptional, kind and attentive. The guest house is beautifully decorated and peaceful, located in a nice and quiet location just 2 mins walk from the beach. I enjoyed my very first surf lessons with Progress surf school, Joao is a very kind and professional instructor. Also I will never forget Adriano, who introduced me to yoga via a really personal approach. I stayed during the covid-19 regulations but still managed to have an amazing relaxing vacation. I will definitely come back!

"Dream Holiday during Corona"
The guesthouse is a family business and has a very cozy and familiar atmosphere. I booked a room with 3 beds and found a very clean room which I shared with 2 other girls. The food was vegetarian with vegan and gluten free options. They also have a really good coffee machine. They emphasize a lot on the details like regional self-made soap, no plastic waste, they remembered what you like and how you drink your coffee and they organized and managed your day with yoga and surfing to my fullest satisfaction. Also it is possible to walk to the beach or do different activities like biking and hiking. During the whole time they were taking active hygiene measurements because of corona and I felt safe and secure.

I give Ondina Guest House a 10 out of 10. I absolutely loved everything and had the best holiday. Liliana, Martha, Suzie, Tomé, the cat Cappuccino, and everyone else from the guesthouse were so incredibly kind and helpful. From asking how my surf class went to remembering how I drink my coffee: it was all such a pleasant experience. Also, the food is so delicious and Liliana made something special each day. The accommodation is beautiful and located in a quiet area close to the beach. Also, the surf classes at Progress Surfschool and yoga classes from Adriano were really great. Friendly instructors and suited for both beginners or more advanced people. As a female solo traveler, I had an amazing experience at Ondina Guest House and I can recommend it to everyone. I will for sure come back!

"feel-good holiday "
Normally I do not write reviews but this time I just have to as this stay is such a feel good vacation for your body and soul. With the first moment this place felt like family. I had the best yoga classes, sun-kissed surfing lessons and the most delicious vegetarian/vegan food you can imagine. Everyone is just so friendly, happy and passionated about their work. It is such a gorgeous spot - I really enjoyed my time at your guest house. Thanks for making it so special. I will definitely come back ;) Best, Christin
