No matter if you are taking your first steps in the practice of yoga or if you are an experienced yogi, in this YTT you will find everything you need to improve your quality of life, as well as achieving the balance of body and mind. In this course, recognized by the European Yoga Federation (EYF) and the Spanish Federation of Professional Yoga (FEYP), you will attend theoretical and practical classes that will form you as a yoga instructor but, above all, this lessons will help you to connect deeply with your essential being.

The way to reach a state of balance and well-being is combining body, emotions, and mind work, which in Sanskrit is called "yoga" and, essentially, means "together": uniting ourselves and to the whole.

Hatha yoga is a set of techniques that seek to integrate the constituent components of the individual: body, mind, and spirit, making them flow at a same appropriate and natural pace to remove the obstacles that prevent you to live in harmony, health, and well-being. These practices are methods that provide health and full benefits both physical and mental. which are:

  • Observation, concentration, and meditation techniques
  • Relaxation techniques: physical, emotional, and mental.
  • Exercises and body positions: asanas of yoga, which improve your breathing and produce balance throughout the body.
  • Breathing control exercises: pranayama, which calms and relaxes the mind, increasing vital energy.

Given the many benefits of yoga that are obtained from the practice and depending on your needs, motivations may vary:

  • Physical. For the treatment of very widespread conditions today: insomnia, anxiety, nervous tension, migraine, as well as digestive system, intestinal, and circulatory disorders.

Arrival by bus

Omkala Yoga House can provide transport from the bus station for a cost of 75 EUR. From Malaga Airport (AGP), there is a connection by public transportation to Vélez-Malaga. From there, you can get to Sedella in a taxi, bus, car rental, etc.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.

    Muy buen lugar y muy buen yoga, pero poca paz.

    CONS Cons: Lo único que no me gustó fue que el dueño del local no respetó el concepto "retiro", fue muy difícil alcanzar serenidad y paz debido a su continuo esfuerzo por sacar conversación, los ruidos de motocicleta, comentarios y preguntas que me hacía acerca de cada paso que daba, disertaciones en tono de voz muy alto sobre sus asuntos financieros y amorosos... En un primer momento pensé que se trataba de una actitud de nerviosismo y hospitalidad para esforzarse en que el retiro funcione. Pero yo le recomiendo dejar más margen de libertad a los asistentes, respetar el silencio, su espacio, su paz, su búsqueda... entender que las personas pueden organizarse solas, dejarles buscarse con tranquilidad, sin darles continuos 'inputs'. Ya que quienes eligimos un retiro no vamos a buscar diversión, ni jolgorio, ni ligar, en muchos casos no buscamos hacer relaciones sociales de manera forzada sino que preferimos que esto surja y salga de manera natural. Si el objetivo del viaje fuera expansivo y eléctrico y no interior y sereno, eligiríamos otros destinos como un hotel con bailes y animadores en Torremolinos. A pesar de eso, fue sensacional, yoga y lugar EXCELENTES. Agradezco mucho todo lo que me aportó la experiencia. Mikel me regaló un libro de reiki que seguro que me abrirá nuevas vías. Y estoy segura de que mejorando este único defecto (respetar el silencio y paz de los asistentes), puede convertirse cada vez más en un retiro mágico, único, renovador y trascendental. ¡Mucha suerte!

    PROS Pros: El lugar es magnífico, la sierra de la Axarquía con su idiosincrasia única, su vegetación y fauna sorprendentes. La sala de yoga está muy bien equipada y tiene increíbles vistas a las montañas a través de enormes cristaleras, es un lujo empezar y terminar el día haciendo yoga viendo las montañas, el mayor privilegio. Las instalaciones son idóneas, las camas son muy cómodas, los baños son nuevos y todo está muy limpio y equipado. La comida ovoláctea vegetariana es muy completa, equilibrada, variada y abundante. La cocina y frigorífico con viandas, frutas, leches vegetales, té y zumos siempre están a disposición para servirse con libertad.

Si esto te ha parecido un poco molesto, quizas se deba a que el afán de agradar que ponemos en todo lo que hacemos, es lo que nos mueve a tener gente en nuestros retiros y hacer de su estancia algo único.
