Emotional Mindfulness Jungle Retreat India

Are you in search of inner strength, balance, and freedom in times of life changes? This silent retreat deepens the emotional presence that is an inner compass to navigate through important life transitions. We can only know what we want if we know what we feel. Increasing mindfulness of emotions allows us to make meaningful steps in a time of change. This one-week training in emotional awareness and presence will help you to become more centered in yourself, more internally free, and more fearless. We become fearless not by removing our fears, but by being able to be peacefully present with them. Presence with emotions is healing and restoring. Emotion Mindfulness and Presence sessions are combined with Yoga and Yoga Nidra practice to rebalance and restore the energy flow and deepen bodily awareness. The retreat will take place in a natural environment of a tropical forest situated near a scenic peaceful palm beach.

Program

This silent week retreat focuses on the development of emotional mindfulness, mindful practice of yoga, and Yoga Nidra. Guided practices facilitate the inner focus of attention in silence.

The attention, especially in the stress of life changes is often turned outside. Then it is easy to lose contact with your inner emotional compass. Focusing attention inside allows us to reconnect with our feelings, needs, become more centered, grounded, and balanced.

During this retreat, you will learn how to be with your own feelings in a liberating and growth-promoting way. Yoga and Yoga Nidra will help you to restore and rebalance your energy. It will increase your awareness and presence.

You will have an opportunity to address any important individual questions during an individual talk.

Mindfulness of emotions and coaching sessions are guided by an internationally recognized psychologist and author of the Emotional Coaching model (published by Cambridge University Press), Dr. Agnieszka Konopka.

Yoga and Yoga Nidra sessions focused on deepening awareness and presence are given by an advanced international yoga teacher and teacher for teachers, Yogi, Sanjeev Dutta.

Om Yoga Shala Ashram is located on the slopes of a hillside facing paddy fields and a river. The location is lush green full of various tropical forests and fruit trees. The environment is peaceful and tranquil. Agonda beach is two minutes drive by bike and 10 minutes walk from the Ashram. You will be near the beach yet but not affected by the hustle and bustle of the beachside crowds and activities.

Please book your flight to arrive at Goa International Airport (GOI). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request at an additional cost of 30 EUR. Major cities from Europe and the UK run direct flights to Goa. You can also get a flight to Mumbai, Bangalore, or New Delhi and then take a short domestic flight to Goa. The venue is about 90 minutes drive from the Goa International Airport (GOI). Agonda is a famous beach destination, you should not face any problem in finding the place.
