Enjoy Om Sampoorn Yoga’s retreat that is full of immersion in yoga, practicing different styles of asana, pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation, surrounded by the healing energy of the holy river Ganga in Rishikesh, India. During the retreat, you will have a chance to also visit sacred caves and temples, meet sadhus, watch the sunrise in the Himalayas, and participate in holy ceremonies. It’s not something you want to miss!
During this retreat, you will be accommodated at Yoga Niketan Ashram. You will stay in an ashram-style, clean and safe room. Double occupancy rooms are available upon request.
Note: Please note that classes are held either in the yoga hall of by the sacred Ganga. On days of excursions and sightseeing, the schedule will change. Om Sampoorn Yoga will inform you of such changes the day before.
Vimal is a certified international yogi and spiritual counselor from Rishikesh, the world’s capital of yoga. His studies with Swami Daram Das at the Sivananda Vedanta Academy and his one-year of sadhana alone in a cave have allowed him to become the guide students search for. They can learn and practice daily yogic teachings, ultimately enjoying a stress-free, peaceful life. Vimal’s objective is to spread health and love across the world through his authentic, energetic, yet sensitive teachings. He has been sharing his passion for yoga for over 10 years in India and other parts of Asia.
Elena is an internationally certified yogini who teaches Atma yoga, a holistic healing style created by Saul David Raye. Elena’s classes are open to all levels of students and include a dynamic flow of asana, pranayama, mantra, Ayurvedic tips, and meditation. Eclectic energy together with teachings from Bhakti, Tantra, and shamanism are at the core of her classes.
This retreat will take place in Rishikesh, India. Rishikesh is the world's capital of yoga situated by the sacred river Ganga with its majestic mountains, ancient temples, sadhus, and sacred ceremonies, and is the perfect environment to allow you to deeply immerse yourself in yoga, on and off the mat.
During this retreat, you will be served three daily balanced, nourishing, yogic, and vegetarian meals.
Please book your flight to arrive at Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport (DED). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request.
Please book your train to arrive at Haridwar Junction railway station, which is a five-hour trip on Shatabdi Express from New Delhi railway station. You can then take a taxi from Haridwar to the retreat center in Rishikesh, which will take about an hour.
