This is a digital detox. You lock your phone up in a small locker at check in. No wifi, no tv, digital distractions. They have instruments and jams session nights, inside and outside yoga, surfing lessons, nature hikes and much more. We had a night where we sat by the fire getting to know all the other guests and employees at the house. It was a very cool experience you only usually get in a hostel. But we had the comfort of a great room, our own bathroom and kitchen. They have a great pool and will help you organize anything you want. One day we sat around the pool drinking wine, another day we had surf lessons. It was an amazing experience and wish I could have stayed longer. As they say there: Disconnect to reconnect

I had the most amazing experience staying at Offline Portugal. Barbara, Sten, and Rita are so incredibly welcoming and being 'offline' allows you to talk to one another and really get to know each other and feeling really comfortable.
The yoga session was amazing. Barbara is a calm, patient teacher and as someone who is still learning the ropes, it was helpful to be corrected or assisted in stretching deeper. The surfing was great with either Barbara or the volunteers driving us down to the beach for our surf lesson and offering to pick us up.
The pizza party in the mountains is a must! Hugo's bar is always a good laugh too! It was very hard to leave such a wonderful place and I am already planning my next visit!

The best place to leave the world behind and find tranquillity! Where to begin? The house is absolutely amazing and radiates good vibes; Barbara, Rita and the volunteers are lovely and made me feel so comfortable (like this is my house!). All the guests were wonderful and it was so much fun to actually to get to know them and do things together (no technology so we spent our time on hikes, yoga, meditation, playing games and having good laughs). I think we were all sad when we said our goodbyes. The Offline guesthouse has a special place in my heart! Thank you all for the wonderful time, cannot wait to come back!

I stayed at the awesome house of Offline Portugal when Barbara and I organized a meditation and yoga retreat there. I really enjoyed my stay - the house is so welcoming, amazing vibes. Barbara, Rita, and each one of the volunteers are great hosts, they all make you feel like your own home! The Offline concept is very inspiring and I left the house with plenty new friends with whom we truly connected - miss you all already!
By far one of the best stays that I had for years! Totally recommended if you want to enjoy, relax, get away from technology for a while, and create meaningful connections with people. Thank you so much guys, hope to see you again soon.
