For those unfamiliar with the term 'forest bathing', it simply means the practice of slowing down and totally immersing yourself in the forest atmosphere, inspired by the Japanese art of shinrin-yoku, which draws on the therapeutic powers of nature to reduce stress and leave you with a profound sense of peace.
Ockenden Manor is a charming and tranquil Elizabethan manor house tucked away in Cuckfield, one of the prettiest Tudor villages in England. With its history and character, the elegant sitting room warmed by a roaring log fire, and cozy, wood-paneled bar, it's a wonderful place to escape to.
