"The hotel has a private beach. Every room is sea facing. The rooms are clean, spacious, equipped with modern facilities. The hotel has a swimming pool. The restaurant is good. The food could be better."

"This quiet hotel has the colonial feel with the high ceilings and heavy wood furniture- even the beds were equipped with mosquito nets that were purely decorative. The large balconies for the great view of the ocean through the palm trees which provide a great shade during the day on the plentiful beach chairs. The noise of the surf could be heard as you fell sleep every night. The staff was very helpful especially the cleaners and waiters and waitresses at breakfast. Breakfast was a buffet but you could also order eggs as you like them and they were delivered to your table. The restaurant food is decent for lunch and for quick dinners of a reasonable quality. Overall we had a great stay in this relaxing hotel. It would be recommended for families who are looking to relax by the pool or the beach. There's not much nightlife around Bentota but if releasing turtles on the beach and watching the sunsets is your thing the. Bentota and oasey Hotel are recommended."

"You don't get many jewels in the crown like the Oasey Beach Hotel. After the efficient pickup from the airport, we spent the next 7 days relaxing at this small boutique hotel. The team led by the owner Viraj and Ms. Lotti could not be faulted. Every one of the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable."

"I have only ever written one review from my travels and this is it. It was a great and fortunate find for us that we fondly remembered. My girlfriend was especially appreciative after her first two weeks of travelling around with a rucksack. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, Viraj and his team if you are travelling to, or visiting this part of, Sri Lanka. Lastly, regarding price, it is very reasonable (about 22 GBP per night for both of us if I remember correctly) especially considering the quality of our stay."

"My partner and I visited this hotel during a stay in Bentota. The hotel is brand new, very clean and well appointed. The hotel has been designed to accommodate guests in a spacious manor with big bright airy rooms, a superb pool, and easy access to the beach. The rooms are complete with cable TV, mini bar, and a large bathroom. We found our whole experience at the Oasey Beach Hotel to be most enjoyable. The service and food are second to none."
