Olivier discovered Yoga while living in London 20 years ago while struggling with running injuries. Since completing his 200 then 500 YTTC in India with Tribe Yoga and Sampoorna Yoga 10 years ago, he became more open to take responsability for his own learning, developemnt and healing. Since 2014 Olivier has been a resident main teacher at Sampoorna 200 YTTC in the cold winter month and Vinyasa Flow, Yin and Ashtanga classes in Japan, Canada, Germany and the UK.

My son and I spent four nights with the Charles family. Right away we felt at home in their traditional, yet modern, home in the small village of Nishiawakura. We ate delicious home-cooked meals, including freshly baked bread from the bakery they built next to their home. My son played with Hiromi and Olivier's sons and local children, while I took a yoga lesson and met and talked with people who stopped in to the bakery. We also had a fun excursion to the Tottori Sand Dunes and Museum for a unique view of the Japanese landscape. Next time, I hope to visit the local craftspeople and shops. We can't thank the Charles family enough for their hospitality and generosity. Stay here if you want an authentic and one-of-a-kind Japanese experience!
