Lush vegetation, breath-taking view, somewhere floating between the sky and the river below, El Divisadero Eco Lodge is this kind of place that makes you forget about the rest of the world. Surrounded by a lush environment, focus on only you. Let the Mexican abundant nature to spoil you, allow its pre-Hispanic medicine to heal you.
Each cabin has a unique design and is built with organic elements, bamboo, clay, palm, rocks, etc. Temazcal, terrasses, and natural pools complete the set up.
It's the perfect place to let go of your busy life and reconnect with your true self.
Noemie is always keen about sharing all these “feel good” tips for your body and your mind. By interconnecting neuro-anatomy and higher spiritual sense in her guidance, she allows you to find meanings that resonate with your practice.
She will lead you to ways of improving your focus, your mobility, and your strength, and let go of unnecessary tensions in very original sessions.
Different techniques will be explored, such as pranayamas (breathing), Nidra yoga (yogic sleep), Vinyasa flows, Yin yoga, Restorative yoga, and specific workshops with back bendings (opening the heart), inversions (grounding and resetting the flow of body fluids), mudras, and meditations to clear mind and soul.
Surrounded by a lush environment, reset and focus on only you. You are invited to switch off your digital devices at the time of the retreat, for a better "reconnection" with your true needs.
A Temazcal ceremony will take place. It is an ancient, prehispanic purification ritual, a medicinal sweat-lodge. Inside a mud dome, you are bathing in the steam of the 12-herb tea that the healer pours on red hot volcanic rocks.
Along with that, several other activities in line with the practice are offered:
Originally trained as a dance therapist and psychomotrician in Paris, France, Noemie is a registered Yoga Alliance instructor (YTT 200) and is currently a trainee in the Iyengar method. She practices Tibetan yoga, Vinyasa flow, Restorative, and Yin yoga, and is a Vipassana meditator. She is always keen about sharing all these “feel good” tips for your body and your mind. By interconnecting neuro-anatomy and higher spiritual sense in her guidance, she allows you to find meanings that resonate with your practice. She will lead you to improve your focus, your mobility, and your strength.

Food is medicine! The menu has been designed with clean, fresh, and local ingredients. In Mexico, food is always joyful and nurturing. They also wanted it to be satisfying, energizing, and fully balanced in terms of nutrients and vitamins.
The retreat menu has been designed from a nutritionist lens: fresh, local seasonal, and organic ingredients for happy nourishing meals. Lunches are vitalizing, while dinners are calming.
They will be consciously prepared by Chef Rodrigo Beltràn, and served as a buffet with vegetarian, vegan, and any diet options. Let them know if you have any food intolerance/allergy.
Rodrigo's specialty is medicinal chocolates. He's fond of herbalism, and have together investigate introducing as many as many local plants, trees, flowers, and their medicinal components in the menu.
Workshops are in the program: how to prepare tamales, a traditional local dish; how to make your own plant-based milk; and how to craft your own seitan, a nutrient-packed meat substitute.
