Ak'bol Yoga Retreat and Eco Resort is Belize’s first yoga retreat and family eco-resort where you can live a life unplugged. The resort consists of village rooms, sea / garden view cabana, and seafront cabana. The resort is also equipped with a swimming pool to be used by the guests.
The resort offers rustic private rooms, single or double in a Maya-inspired, three-story dormitory positioned on the lagoon. The rooms have soothing tones with large windows, including views of the sunsets and a beautiful breeze. There are co-ed shared bath and shower areas with natural light, hand-carved wooden sinks, and rain showers.
The cabanas feature woven thatched ceilings, soothing river rock flooring, and mosaic countertops. In the traditional old school style, windows are plantation shuttered and accordion front doors are open to the sea, leading out to your private bush stick front porch.
Carved mahogany sinks with conch shell faucets keep you in the present island moment. Queen beds feature warrior wood headboards with mosquito netting and storage underneath. A loft can accommodate additional guests upon request. You can bathe privately under the sun or start in your private outside bamboo shower area.

This yoga retreat will take place at Ak'bol Yoga Retreat and Eco Resort, located in San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, Belize. Ambergris Caye is a perfect vacation getaway, just enough amenities to make it exciting, but not over developed. The white beach island, the largest in Belize, utilizes golf carts as the main form of transportation along the sandy roads. The island offers great snorkeling and diving around the Belize Barrier Reef, the second largest barrier reef in the world.
