Manor Farm Holiday Cottages consists of converted barns and stables which provide luxury four-star en-suite accommodation set in the small rural village of Buckton. Single and shared en-suite rooms are available. Hairdryers and towels will be provided.
The yoga classes will be taught by a local Iyengar yoga teacher with over ten years experience. During this retreat, you will have five hours of yoga classes with yoga equipment provided and two accompanied coastal walks. Maximum number of ten guests allows you to get individual attention during classes and encourages a friendly relaxed atmosphere during the holiday.
From the accommodation, you can explore the scenic coastline, walk along the six-mile long stunning 100-meter high Bempton cliffs and visit the RSPB Nature Reserve, one of the best places in England to see puffins and gannets. You are welcome to travel solo, with friends, or as a couple. There are plenty of local walks and sightseeing. This retreat is suitable for all ages and experience levels too.
You will experience accompanied guided walks on both Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon to explore the scenic cliff tops and local beaches.

During this retreat, you will be served two daily vegetarian meals. Katy, the fabulous vegetarian cook has a deep personal commitment to organic growing and to cooking methods that respect the integrity of the ingredients used. It has underpinned her approach to feed both her family and her customers. Organic and sustainable growing continues to be the bedrock of her cooking with continuous exploration of the rich stock of exciting vegetarian cuisines from around the world.
A firm believer in the adage that "you are what you eat", she uses whole, unprocessed ingredients in all of her cooking. Everything she serves has been made by her from scratch promoting health through natural wholefoods which is mirrored in the theory and practice of a sattvic diet consisting of fresh organic fruit and vegetables, whole grains and nuts, organic dairy products, beans and lentils, plant-based oils, mild sweeteners (molasses, maple syrup and unrefined sugar), and spices (cinnamon, basil, coriander, ginger, and turmeric).
Most of the recipes she uses are vegan and others can be very satisfactorily adapted for vegans. Alongside her firm belief in the importance of unprocessed organic wholefoods as the building blocks of a healthy diet, her home kitchen is a calm, creative space in which she applies her skills with an attention to detail which includes grinding many of her own spices and carefully sequencing the order in which ingredients are added to dishes.
