Faasai Resort and Spa is an eco-resort committed to preserving the environment and supporting the local community. Their values are grace, harmony, and beauty. Faasai Resort and Spa wants their guests to experience authentic Thailand and to leave feeling part of the family.
You will be accommodated in Faasai Resort and Spa’s bungalows or villas. The bungalows are wooden Thai style houses on stilts with their own balcony, with garden or pool views. Inside, the bungalows are furnished with natural materials such as bamboo matting and wooden floors, with this natural theme continued into the pebble-tiled en suite bathrooms.
Each day is different on Whole and Happy, shaped around a daily theme which brings you closer to wholeness and happiness. Always believe something wonderful is about to happen!
Enjoy a group trip to the local Thai markets to sample delicious Thai foods, try out your bargaining skills, and immerse yourself in local culture. You will also have day cycle trip to Chao Lao Beach, a trip to a seaside viewpoint for sunrise salutations, a beach picnic with our Thai staff on Day 6 evening, and an Organic Garden tour and self-sufficiency talk with Bronwen Evans. Bicycles are always available for exploring the seaside village of Kung Wiman.
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Hatha Yoga)
Rosie is a yoga teacher and thai massage therapist, and has spent the past five years travelling and teaching in the yoga and wellness industry internationally. She offers a Hatha flow style of yoga with a strong focus on the breath and awareness so that each practice becomes a meditation in motion. Her personal practice is based on self-love and building harmony between all the little parts of herself through a balance of energizing and restorative practices. Having seen in herself the transformative powers of yoga, she believes it can bring a little more sunshine into everyone's life.
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Ashtanga Yoga)
Natasha hails from Canada and has spent the past year traveling, studying, and teaching yoga, as well as discovering a love for the practice that has transformed her life. She believes that yoga is a practice both on and off the mat. She aims to cultivate an awareness of mindfulness, presence, and gratitude through her yoga teachings and online blog posts at Gypsy Glitter Soul. Having been both a guest and teacher on yoga retreats around the world, Natasha believes in the positive, life-altering benefits of this practice, and is excited to share her light and love with you.

Faasai Resort and Spa is a peaceful coastal haven only 220 kilometers to the southeast of Bangkok or about three hours by car. The quiet garden resort is only ten minutes walk from Kung Wiman Beach and a good base for exploring the beaches and mountains of Chanthaburi. The nearest airport is Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Bangkok's international airport, about two and a half hours away, which has buses going directly to Chanthaburi.

Faasai Resort and Whole and Happy Retreat believe in cultivating a positive and synergistic relationship with nature and with food. They focus on farm-to-table, organic food sourced from the Faasai gardens and farm, and meals are vegetarian, wholesome food. You will be served a hearty post-yoga brunch and a family dinner each night, with a snack and smoothie in the early afternoon.
Fresh spring water from the Faasai filter system, tea, coffee and seasonal fruit are available all day. You will have tea-making facilities and a fridge in your accommodation should you wish to store things.
Faasai Resort has a full menu of spa treatments available which you can book on arrival at Faasai.
Please book your flight to arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Whole and Happy Retreat will offer a shuttle pickup for the retreat group from a specific meeting point in Bangkok to bring people to Faasai Resort.
Alternatively, there are regular bus services with buses leaving almost every hour from Bangkok. The buses to Chanthaburi leave from the airport at 8:10 a.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:10 p.m., 4:55 p.m., and 6:40 p.m.
You can take the commuter train from the airport to the city. It takes about 30 minutes to travel, 28 kilometers (17 miles) and it links with both the subway (MRT) and Skytrain (BTS) systems in Bangkok. You can take the BTS to Ekkamai where it stops right at the eastern bus terminal.
