Dance, music, and singing are considered forms of expression in the culture of India and are considered as refined spiritual languages. Enjoy Indian classical dances, like Mohiniattiam, one of Indias major dance forms.
Mohiniattiams origins are traced from between the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries in the southern state of Kerala. It is part of the tradition of Devadasi Dance of the Templars (the priestess of the god). As a dance of worship, it relates to Vishnu, which clearly refers to the term Mohini, the womans name when God turned to kill the demon Bhasmasura.
The performances are led by local artists in order to promote culture and preservation of ancient folk traditions. In this way, the Centre supports economically Vedaguru art projects that would otherwise not receive any support from local authorities.
