The citizenM hotel room is the epitome of affordable luxury in central Rotterdam. All rooms are non-smoking. This hotel is self-supporting and has, therefore, no trouser presses, bellboys, towel swans, or pillow chocolates.
The citizenM realizes that when you’re home you mostly use the bedroom for sleeping, and you hang out in the living room and kitchen instead. So they cunningly designed the lobby to feel like a comfy, inviting and homely living room instead of a lobby.

Retreat locatie
In the Oude Haven (Old Port) Rotterdam, the brand new citizenM Rotterdam is a stylish contemporary hotel which is right in the center with views of the city. Conveniently located near major public transportation, the property is right across the street from Blaak train station, and only a 3-minute train ride from Rotterdam Central Train Station.
Across that same street you will find the local market on Saturday and the famous new Markthal (see photo). It is also the beginning of the shopping area and you will find some musea, like the Kubuswoningen, Martime museum and Museum Rotterdam.
