The accommodation will be provided in a backpackers' hotel. Single beds in one of the hostels nearby area will be available. Different options will be offered to suit everyone's budget.
SUP is recognized as being one of the fastest growing sports across the world. Not only does it provide an amazing full body workout, but it immerses you in a relaxing water based environment. Paddling on a SUP provides great cardio and core toning, but adding yoga creates a whole other dimension to the sport.
SUP Yoga & Fitness Malta have combined yoga with the stand up paddle board element to teach you to breathe, move, and be present not only on the water, but in your everyday life. This unique exercise blend will help you build on your body’s overall strength, stability, and flexibility. Combining breath with movement on a floating platform, you’re sure to find moments of fun, laughter, and focus.
The classes are designed to cater for all levels, from those with no prior yoga or SUP experience to serious practitioners of both, who would like to leap into a dynamic, joyful, and safe yoga practice on the water.
This course is designed for both current yoga teachers and non-teachers. If you are a yoga teacher, the teaching skills will come more quickly; but still, the technical way to teach, sequences, and the water safety are all new to anyone. We do require you have a minimum of 6 months experience as a yoga student (any style).
Training will be provided in a few different locations around Malta in order to familiarize the students with different options for setting up a SUP class.
