During your personal yoga holiday, you will be accommodated at Palmita Suites, just steps away from your yoga studio base, Yoga Dicha Studio. Large, airy, fully furnished suites, and studios in the heart of town. Studios are equipped with comfortable king bed, pull out couch for extra guests, fully equipped kitchenette, air conditioner, private balcony, en-suite bathroom, large closet, Wi-Fi, and a great work desk.

Suites have all of the above minus the pullout couch and full kitchen. Suites come with mini-fridge. You will be stayed in a great central location in Tulum, just steps away from the charming shops, restaurants, and bars. Tulum beach and ruins are a short and scenic bike ride away.

After booking deposit, you will be contacted by retreat hosts Sol to Soul Retreats and they will send arrival itinerary and how best to get to Tulum. Once you arrive, you will check into your accommodations where you can unpack and relax. Join the yoga community at Yoga Dicha Studio for evening yoga or explore town.

Your yoga holiday includes an unlimited pass to the studio and you will have the opportunity to come to as many classes as you like on the schedule, which will help you discover new styles or deepen your connection to the practice. If you are new to yoga, you are in good hands.

They have a ton of beginners pass through their studio doors and you will be welcomed with open arms. If you are a seasoned yogi, your teachers are fully trained to cater to all levels.

Your yoga holiday will include daily breakfast at a beautiful restaurant just steps from your accommodations that you can enjoy at your leisure either before or after class. To help you unwind, Sol to Soul Retreats will organize a holistic massage in your room or at a local spa with one of their favorite local holistic therapists.

    After years of theatre and performing arts, Irene discovered the hot yoga practice and changed her life. Moved to Mexico in 2013, she became a yoga teacher. First teaching to kids, then Hatha Flow. Once she got her certification in hot yoga, she started traveling. From that moment, she never stopped. From California to Madrid, Amsterdam, Colombia, Florida, and Costa Rica as trainer, teacher, interpreter, and chef. Her love for the practice and the people continuously brings her to looking for new experiences, where she can grow and humbly make steps foreword in her path.

  • Josephine Foxall Dant

    With years of self-study in philosophy and practice, in 2014, Josephine began teaching a daily class whilst living in a mindfulness and healing community in Colombia. In the following years after gaining further training in Yin and Vinyasa with the Yandara School in Hawaii, she has continued to teach in Colombia, Guatemala, Sayulita, Mexico, and now at Yoga Dicha Studio. Teaching style: She aims to bring the heart of mindfulness into her classes. Tending towards a Slow Flow, her classes are based on grounded alignment, movement with breath, and expanding awareness.

  • Julia Kothe

    Julia Kothe is a passionate yoga-lover from Germany. She studied psychology for three years but decided to combine this knowledge with holistic healing approaches. Julia completed her 250 hour Hot yoga training in Tulum in 2016 and it completely changed her perspective, her body, and her outlook on life. In her classes, she loves to combine a Vinyasa Flow with Bikram postures, finishing with a dose of Yin as a transition into Savasana. Favorite quote: "When I had nothing to lose, I had everything. When I stopped being who I am, I found myself" by Paulo Coelho.

  • Gloria Medellin

    Sharing my practice with all of the beautiful people that I meet at the studio has become my favorite thing because I reaffirm my passion and love for this philosophy. Teaching allows me to observe myself, to remember to breathe, and let go and relax. I remember to enjoy life and to give all my love with every word I speak. Teaching style: She studied 200-hour Hatha yoga in India and completed her second 200-hour certification in the Aligned Flow method at Yoga Dicha Studio in Tulum. She blends Hatha and alignment with conscious meditation, pranayama, and soulful words from the heart.

Tulum is located in the state of Quintana Roo and 90 minutes from the Cancun International airport. Tulum town is where you will be staying for your personal yoga holiday.

Shops, restaurants, culture and artisan markets add charm to this bustling little town. Tulum beach is about a 20 minute bike ride away. (Town and beach are operated by mangroves and jungle).

Tulum ruins are a leisurely 10 minute bike ride away. And there are natural cenotes located throughout the area.

After your daily yoga, you can explore the town and beach by foot, car, or bike. Tulum is surrounded by amazing cenotes (fresh water sink holes), ruins, and gorgeous jungle fauna.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to Cancun International Airport (CUN). Sol to Soul Retreats will organize your transport via private car or van, so that you will arrive in comfort. Cost for private transport is 140 USD and can be booked after your reservation has been confirmed. Flights arrive daily from all over the world and there are tons of great options out there for securing affordable flights.

Tulum is located 90 minutes south of Cancun and it's a direct shot on the highway to get to town. Various options for ground transportation include a private van or car, taxi, and local bus (ADO).

Arrival by bus

You can use the ADO bus service direct from the airport. Simply look for the ADO kiosk after exiting customs and ask about buses to Tulum. You may have to wait as they do not run every hour, but it is a safe and economic way to arrive. Once you arrive to Tulum bus terminal, it is only a quick taxi ride away to your accommodations.

Arrival by taxi

There are many options for taxis kiosks as you exit customs. Simply chose one and organize your rate and taxi. Another option is to exit the building and hire one of the taxis that are available at arrivals area. Sometimes you can save some pesos by choosing this option. Taxis are fast, safe, and reliable. Many will also make a stop at OXXO or 7-11 en-route, if asked to grab water or a snack for the trip.
