On our yoga retreat Cornwall you’ll stay in gorgeous Mongolian-style yurts. They’re the ultimate in luxury camping. The yurts offer a unique back to nature experience. The wood-burning stove in the yurts will keep you warm on cooler evenings. Solar powered fairy lights add to the magical atmosphere. Each yurt has its own fire pit. We’ll be cooking on an open fire and relaxing around it to enjoy the bright stars at night. What a wonderful adventure! The yurt’s contain a double bed and single futons as well as flowers from the garden, beautiful bed spreads and colourful rugs. The bathrooms are a short stroll away.
Lots of guests on arrive independently on our yoga retreat Cornwall. There is a warm, kind and friendly atmosphere with communal activities and plenty of opportunity for you to take some quiet time for yourself too.
If you are travelling independently you will be sharing a yurt with two other lovely guests. There are two single futons and one double bed in each yurt so there will be plenty of space for you all.
Start the day with a vibrant Vinyasa flow yoga class. This fluid, dynamic and invigorating form of yoga will leave you energized and glowing! In the afternoon you’ll love the deeply calming and yin & restorative yoga classes. You’ll float out of these classes feeling revitalized and relaxed.
Your yoga classes will be filled with accessible teachings and ideas to inspire you and help you reconnect with what’s important to you and to feel so good about yourself. You’ll also experience meditation sessions and guided relaxations to leave you feeling serene, centered and with a new perspective on meditation.
Your yoga teacher, and Shine Yoga founder, Jennifer Austin passionately believes that yoga classes should feel fun, relaxed and inclusive. She loves to create exciting, flowing, original classes with careful sequencing in a joyful atmosphere. Her classes include laughter, new challenges, wisdom, music, meditation, poetry and anything else she can think of to make you feel really good.
There are 2 stunning spaces for yoga; a warm and comfortable indoor converted barn and outside in the sunshine if the weather allows. Over the retreat there will be 6 yoga classes. On your arrival and departure days these will be 60 minutes, then on Saturday and Sunday they will 90 – 120 minutes each.
You are welcome to arrive any time after 4.30pm on Friday evening. There will be a gentle evening yoga session to work out the travel kinks and start the relaxation process followed by a welcome dinner.
The weekend will end with a morning yoga session and breakfast before checkout at 10am on Monday morning. If you are unable to stay till Monday you can plan to head off on Sunday instead.

You can fly direct to Newquay airport from many cities in the UK and Europe. From Newquay airport it’s about a 50 minute transfer to the yoga retreat Cornwall. The cost of a taxi will be around 50 GBP.
The nearest train stations to the yoga retreat Cornwall are Bodmin Parkway and Liskeard. It’s about a 20 minute transfer from each of these stations. To plan your rail journey take a look at thetrainline. If you are travelling from London to the yoga retreat Cornwall we recommend booking the 12.05pm train from London Paddington on Friday and the 11.19am train back from Bodmin Parkway on the Monday.
