This exceptional adventure will start in San Pedro de Atacama with outdoor yoga sessions in the middle of the aridest desert of the planet. You will also enjoy hikes through giant cactus forests and scenarios of another planet through famous Valley of the Moon and Death Valley. Those are places of a surreal beauty where you will also have the opportunity to practice the yoga outdoor. You will continue traveling in a 4x4 Jeep to the Salar de Uyuni and Eduardo Avaroa National Park to enjoy the voyage.
In San Pedro de Atacama, you will be staying at exclusive Atacama Loft in a beautiful private glamp. Atacama Loft is an interesting sustainable project that has four lofts immersed within 5,000 meters of alfalfa and endemic trees such as Chañares and Algarrobo trees. All is built based on the reuse of waste as thermal raw material and insulation, considering also the reuse of water for irrigation and the organic for the creation of compost and humus and the sun as electric power.

The flight will be from Santiago to Calama. You will be transported from Calama to San Pedro de Atacama (one-hour drive). Then, you will check in at the beautiful hosting, Atacama Loft. Thereafter, you may have lunch in San Pedro de Atacama Restaurant (not included). During the afternoon trip to the past, you will have an interesting walk to the most important historical site of San Pedro, Pukara of Quitor.
You will also have an easy one-hour walk approximately climbing to the lookout of the place to enjoy a stunning setting with breathtaking views of Catarpe Valley, Death Valley, and the imposing Licancabur in front of you. A magical yoga and meditation session in the place with a breathtaking sunset will end your first day in the driest place in the world. You may have free time in San Pedro for dinner (not included) and to explore this beautiful town, enjoy its architecture, and local craft shops.
Today will be a day to tour the most surreal and beautiful surroundings of the driest desert in the world, the Atacama Desert. At 07:00, you will enjoy delicious breakfast at Atacama Loft. At 08:00, you will then leave for the tour to Guatin Valley. A beautiful morning walk along the Puritama River surrounded by impressive giant cactus and upholstered ignimbrite rocks which show the great volcanic activity of yesteryear.
You can also observe pre-Hispanic storage cellars and rooms of the ancient era of the camelids caravans. You will enjoy a moderate hike about three hours of medium difficulty and 5.6 kilometers away. The trek will end in the spectacular natural pools of Puritama to enjoy a well-deserved thermal bath after the walk. There will be delicious outdoor lunch in the hot springs facilities.
In the afternoon, you´ll impregnate yourself to all the magic of the Moon Valley. You will begin with a low difficulty hike of two hours approximately by the enigmatic Death Valley where it does not grow any plant or insect and that is precisely why this has name. You will live the magical experience of practicing yoga over a dune of the valley and under the famous celestial tones of the sunsets of the Atacama Desert. There will be a private transportation to Atacama Loft.
At 07:00, you will have breakfast. At 08:30, you will be transported in a private transportation to Hito Cajon, the border with Bolivia. At 10:00, the estimated time of arrival in the border where private transport 4x4 will be waiting for the passengers. Entering Bolivia, the road runs along the imposing Licancabur Volcano and the mirror of two bodies of the Green Lagoon, one of the treasures of the Wildlife Reserve Eduardo Abaroa and first point of your expedition in 4X4.
You will approach the Green Lagoon at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano. As you drove, another great extension will open in front of you - the Valley of the Ladies of the Desert - followed by the Polques Hotsprings where you´ll take a full body bath before leaving to the Geysers Sol de Mañana, a surprising demonstration of the volcanic activity in the area. Continuing along desert expanses, it will open your eyes the diadem of the Reserve Colorada Lagoon, the main center of nesting of three species of flamingos and whose algae activated by solar radiation and the wind give a pink tone to the lagoon and the legs and part of the plumage of these exotic birds.
These fantastic deserts are owners of the whole palette of terra cotta. Reds, oranges, browns, bronzes and beiges occur in every curve of the road, fighting the traveler's attention. Here, you will visit the Stone Tree and in the route and you will find the untamed vicuna, I auquénido of haughty figure that can be observed in small groups. You will continue the way to Ojo de Perdiz to spend the night in the beautiful and comfortable Tayka Desert Hotel located in the heart of the sumptuous landscapes of the Siloli Desert. Delicious dinner will be served at the Hotel.
At 07:00, you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At 08:00, you will continue your adventure towards Ramadita, Honda, Chiarkota, Hedionda, and Cañapa Lagoons where large numbers of flamingos of the three species in the area will let be seen and photographed at will. Once you have covered this beautiful bouquet of lagoons, you will go to San Pedro de Quemes to have lunch in the comfortable facilities of the Tayka de Piedra Hotel.
Then, you´ll have the privilege of crossing from south to north along the most beautiful part of the white desert, Sensual Salar, unknown to most tourists. You will pass by Yonza, small population to then enter the Salar by Charagua where you´ll stop to visit their pens of remarkable aesthetics. You will continue with a visit to the Bay of Campanas Islands. You will drive by 4X4 by the salt crust to Ch'jini, very little visited by tourists despite its unique beauty.
By the hand of the community members, you´ll ascend to the "cathedral" mound of about 40 meters high where you will find a Pucara or ruins of stacked stones - residences, barns, and viewpoints that presume belong to a fort of an old civilization after the Tiwanacota. A challenge climb to the lookout will be perhaps one of the most exceptional in the world. Then, you visit the Ch'jini Cave.
After this visit, you will continue to the north and west shores of the Salar with short stops at some points to take pictures from angles never seen by tourism. You´ll cross the Salar towards the east until Colchani to reach your accommodation at Tayka of Salt Hotel located at the foot of Thunhupha Volcano on the north shore of the Uyuni Salar. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
At 05:00, you will depart from the hotel to Incahuasi Island to witness a spectacle like no other - the sunrise at the world's largest salt flat. Breakfast will be at the place. Today will be a time to visit this beautiful island with the oldest cactus on the planet. Then, you will return to the hotel for check out and lunch. You will take your luggage for then be taken to Uyuni Check in Samay Wasi Hotel. Dinner will be at the hotel.
At 03:30, the private transportation will take you to the bus station in Uyuni. At 04:00, you will take a bus to Calama. Then at 08:00, you will cross the border to Chile and arrive at 15:00 to Calama.
Note: The difficulty level is from low to moderate and the maximum height is 4,997 (Geysers Sol de Mañana).

Pukara of Quitor is an archaeological site that contains much of the past of San Pedro since pre-Inca times in the twelfth century to the controversial arrival of the Spanish in the 16th century. In Moon Valley, there is no presence of humidity making the place one of the driest and most inhospitable places on the planet. Its beauty lies in its spectacular geomorphology and topography, as it is a mountainous and sandy valley, where a lot of natural shapes and sculptures produced over millions of years in the silent Atacama Desert.
At Cañapa Lagoons, other birds such as Andean gulls and ducks accompany the flamingos in these lagoons flanked by volcanoes often snow that descended present a green skirt (Brava straw, yare tam and thola) to finish in the ocher colors that the winds have been drawing in millennia or in the rare colors from borax and sulfur from these strange gaps.
Ch'jini Cave resulting from an underwater geological formation with limestone bodies, resulting from the dissolution of calcium carbonate in contact with groundwater and rainwater formed in the stage prior to the Ice Age 16,000 years ago. Built with blocks of salt extracted from the salt flat and located on a promontory that dominates all the region, Uyuni Salar offers unparalleled panoramic views towards the salt desert surface of 12000 square kilometers.
