Find yourself in the middle of the stunning Sahara Desert surrounded by wideness and the silence.
You will be accommodated in the middle of the Medina, the old city of Marrakesh, just a few minutes walk to the Place Djamma El Fna. Sahara Yoga has selected their Riads very carefully.
Transfer from the airport to the charming Riad in the Medina. A first yoga class on the roof terrace. An evening stroll through the fascinating old town takes you into the magical atmosphere on the famous square Djamm el Fna, where you immerse yourself with a dinner in the aromatic charm of the city.
Leave Marrakesh in the morning by air-conditioned minibus, crossing the High Atlas Mountains. The impressive tour takes you through the 2280 meter high Tizi-n-Tichka Pass and through a mountain landscape to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. This traditionally built Berber village has become known as the backdrop for many movies today. From here you will continue from Riyadh to Ouarzazate where you will eat together after a yoga session in Palmenbewachsenden Garden.
Arrive at the Todra Gorge on the road of a thousand kasbahs. After a short, refreshing walk through the palm tree paradise you will strengthen yourselves in a typical lunch before continuing the trip to Merzouga. In the early evening, you will arrive at the awaiting dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will end the day in the touching silence and vastness of the landscape. Dinner and overnight in the kasbah overlooking the dunes.
A day off - ideal for arrivals, rest, yoga, dune hiking and reading in the pool, garden or any other available activity that brings you joy.
After the morning yoga, you will take a tour of the oasis, and will be hosted by the family Oussidi with a traditional Berber meal in their home. Afterwards you will visit the Childrens Charity in Merzouga. In the afternoon, ride camels to camp in the dunes, ending the day with a colorful sunset. At the campfire you will enjoy a night sky studded with millions of stars.
Camel trekking in the desert with overnight stays in selected camps. Between the daily yoga classes you will enjoy the peace and the silence, the emptiness and vastness of the Sahara.
In the morning you will go back to Merzouga. In the kasbah you will have the morning at leisure. In the afternoon you will visit the touching musical performance of the Gnawa, descendants of former black slaves, as part of an aid project. Dinner and overnight stay at the Kasbah.
After the morning yoga, take the journey through the magical road of 1000 kasbahs back to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the Riad.
On the drive back to Marrakesh you can marvel at the impressive panorama of the Atlas Mountains again. In the early afternoon we reach the pearl of the south: Marrakesh. Time to relax in an authentic hammam. Overnight in Riyadh.
Start your day with a morning yoga class. After breakfast, you will go in search of clues to the most famous sights of the city: Koutoubia Mosque (exterior), the Bahia Palace and the Majorelle Gardens, and the Yves Saint Laurent monument. There remains plenty of time for shopping in the souk and the artisan district. Overnight in Riyadh.
Today would be one last time to buy gifts for yourselves and for those at home, and to say goodbye in peace to Marrakesh. Transfer to the airport.
