On this yoga teacher training, you will be staying at Sach’a Munay Yoga Retreat Center. The center is eco-friendly, made from local materials, and offers lush flower gardens, fruit trees, hummingbirds, majestic rocks, cleansing waterfalls, hammocks, and stunning views of the Apus (sacred mountains) as well as impressive surrounding lands.
Sach’a Munay Yoga Retreat Center maintains an appreciation for the balance and purity of nature. The space is a secluded oasis and ideal for your own spiritual growth. Its shared bungalows offer a reflection of the Peruvian culture surrounded by beautiful gardens.
With highly experienced facilitators and an integrative approach, this program is designed to deepen your personal experience and knowledge of yoga and to help transform all aspects of your life. Sacred Paths Yoga will surely guide you to become empowered practitioners and to step into your own voice as teachers through various sessions including the Despacho ceremony, cleansing plant baths, purifying temescal ceremony, heart-opening cacao ceremony, traditional coca leaf reading and sound, and shamanic healings.
In addition, you will work in a 4-day cycle with 1 day off in between. Upon completion of the coursework, peer teaching, and evaluation, you will also receive a certification of completion which will then enable you to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200). This yoga teacher training will be held at Sach’a Munay Yoga Retreat Center near Arin, a small village near Calca in the middle of the Incas Sacred Valley, Peru. Sach’a Munay, meaning the love from the ancient forest, is located at the base of sacred mountains Pitisuray and Sawasiray right underneath a beautiful waterfall. It is in the heart of the Sacred Valley, only 1 hour from Cusco and 2 hours from the majestic archeological site of Machu Picchu.
During this yoga teacher training, you will enjoy daily vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The meals are sourced from locally-grown products on the abundant land of Peru and prepared lovingly with the freshest ingredients.
