Your accommodation during the retreat is in individual bungalows at Pelagos Hotel. Each room is equipped with a small living room, private bathroom, and kitchenette. The bungalows comfortably sleep two people in separate sleeping areas. Pelagos Hotel is fully equipped to accommodate the classes in a purpose-built shala. The hotel has a beautiful outdoor pool at your disposal with the beach just five minutes' walk away.
The Pelagos Hotel will be hosting what will be your most memorable healthy holiday, with beautiful bungalow accommodation, all equipped with individual bathrooms, kitchenettes, and an on-site vegetable and fruit garden. This boutique hotel is the perfect setting for a relaxing and fun pilates and yoga holiday.
The Pelagos Hotel has built a beautiful 30 x 40 feet practice shala where all classes will take place. Having a massage at Pelagos Hotel is a truly magical experience. You will want to book another and another before the week is over. ReigatePilates can also arrange any other activities that you might want to try on the island.
ReigatePilates is bringing three amazing body control Pilates teachers with them to this exclusive Pilates retreat. They all teach Pilates and movement full time in their own studios and would like to invite you to join them to experience some incredible techniques to help release and relax the body, incorporating elements of Franklin method release, Garuda, and trigger point therapy. The class sizes will all be small since ReigatePilates will split the groups according to ability.
Bands, balls, and props will be used to help you find more movement in the areas that feel stiff and more openness through hips and heart, guiding you towards a more fluid and healthy Pilates and yoga practice. All materials for your classes will be provided, so you can bring your body, mind, and spirit to the mat.
The classes will be taught in small groups. Although the retreat holds 20 people, the classes will be for no more than ten people and be split according to the theme, level, ability, or others. The first class of the week will commence in the evening of your arrival on Saturday.
You will enjoy one or two hiking excursions to the village of Oia and Thira.
Shannon trained originally with body control Pilates but has since incorporated the techniques of Garuda and Franklin method to her teaching style. She has been inspired by and has learned from a prolific list of teachers and her passion is to carry on learning to consistently improve the way you move. Shannon is a perfectionist when it comes to correct movement patterns with precise technique, although being able to move freely and expressively is also a priority. In her free time, she likes to hike for miles with her dog and take regular hot yoga and meditation classes.
Zoe brings a wealth of knowledge to the retreat. Proudly trained with Body Control Pilates and Basi UK, she loves all things involving movement. Her time is spent working alongside physiotherapists, squeezing in yoga and strength, and conditioning sessions for herself and last but not least, enjoying the privilege of being a driver, therapist, and maid to her three kids. Clients can expect technical but flowing classes from Zoe. She is more of a contemporary teacher and finds a general love of helping people to overcome physical issues which continues to drive her passion for her work.
Julia has spent the last 25 years in the fitness industry teaching and competing as a swimmer and triathlete. Julia is also qualified with body control Pilates and teaches at Reigate Pilates. She is a keen yogi and sometimes throws yoga elements into her dynamic classes giving them a little twist. She brings to the retreat her exceptional Pilates teaching experience, energy, and enthusiasm. There is never a dull moment in any of Julia’s sessions. You will be guaranteed to work hard, feel the difference in your body, and adore her infectious personality, making you want to come back for more.

A sumptuous brunch which includes tea, coffee, and water awaits you each morning when your early morning class ends. Dinner will be served as a three to four-course of vegetarian meals in every evening of your stay including the day of your arrival. Meat and fish dishes can be requested.
Please book your flight to arrive at Santorini (Thira) International Airport (JTR). Transfer from and to the airport is included. ReigatePilates will pick you up from the airport.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a driver who will escort you to your hotel. The hotel staff, as well as your team of instructors, will be waiting for you to show you to your comfortable room.
