Yoga Alliance RYT 500 (Ashtanga Yoga)

Phillipa is an established yoga teacher, she was first introduced to Iyengar yoga over twenty years ago by senior teacher Elizabeth Connolly. She was lucky enough to become a regular student of John and Lucy Scott in 1998, it was then that yoga became her life and took her to spend the winters from 2002 to 2006 teaching, travelling, and studying in India, where she had the chance to visit Mysore and study with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Her teaching style is based on her own experience of yoga, teaching a steady, flowing, progressive practice with an awareness of the breath linking the poses.
