You will be accommodated right in the middle of the Medina, Marrakech’s old part of the city, in a carefully chosen, familiar Riad. Cool and comfortable, beautiful and absolutely quiet though right in the center, the chosen Riad provides you with the fitting environment to dust off, relax, enjoy the sun and a glass of Moroccan tea any time of the day. And of course serves us comfortably for our daily yoga practice.
Arrival in Marrakech. Spend the night in the cool calm of our beautiful Partner Riad. We will enjoy a lovely prepared dinner and will take the time to get to know each other, share our expectations and wishes for the upcoming days.
You will enjoy 2 yoga lessons per day, one to welcome the day inspired, one to let the day come to a skillful end.
We will enjoy a lovely prepared, rich breakfast together before we take you out to the must sees in Marrakech: Jemaa el-Fnaa, Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Garden, Bahia Palace, the souks, all the narrow streets hiding all kinds of treasures and handicrafts, and so much more.
After the evening yoga session we will enjoy home made, traditional food in our familiar Riad or in some awesome locations out in the Medina.
Each day you will additionally have the chance to explore the city on your own for fulfilling any personal desires.

Since 2012, Sabine is teaching a mindfulness-based, calm and precise yoga style in Yogastudios and private lessons in Berlin. After two decades of her own yoga praxis, she decides for her first training at Spirit Yoga in Berlin, another training in the traditional style after Sivananda, training in Yin and restorative yoga as well as yoga therapy. Basis of her teaching is the flowing style of Vinyasa Yoga with the emphasis on Pranayama and meditation. Yoga does not have a certain way or style for her, but is an individual practice path.
Andria Madisson Lund
Andria, Canadian native, M.A. intercultural Communication & Cooperation, has been practicing Hatha yoga for 30 years and became a certified yoga Sivananda Yoga Instructor in Vrindavan, India. Andria has developed an eclectic teaching style called “Bearfoot Yoga” that integrates aspects of various lineages and rituals of Indian and Native American culture. She will take you on a journey of creative sun-salutations, followed by strong, dynamic breath-centered poses, inversions, backbends, cooling postures and deep relaxation, affirmations and meditation.
For over 10 years you can find nomad heart Katrin regularly on the mat. In the yoga practice, she found peace and strength from the very beginning – serenity and gratitude followed. The desire being able to pass that to others has initiated her doing a yoga teacher training in 2013 in India at the Ashiyana Yoga Centre and aroused her interest in yoga and holistic life approaches. Additionally it is Katrin’s heartfelt concern to integrate yoga into a normal life, to practice with fun and joy and to submit no overlying strict dogmas.
“In my practice and my teaching, I emphasize on biomechanical orientation, which brings change through introspective that allows us to master our daily life dynamically but yet calmly. Physical and mental well-being. This is yoga. On the mat and off the mat! Trained in yoga therapy, I also teach students with limitations and find individual paths in the yoga practice and for everyday life.” Henriette teaches Anusara orientated yoga at all levels, with the goal of building a bridge between mat and everyday life together with her students.
15 years ago I starting taking the trip to yoga. And every day you will notice how much there is still to discover. We can learn so much from our inner selves when we listen carefully. My focus in teaching yoga is a therapeutical approach. I support you to find into your body and to strengthen it reasonable. Of course, we will also dive deep into the world of pranayama and meditation (yin meditation and vipassana meditation). At the end of the day, you will be taught a yin yoga class for your inner balance. I am looking forward to practice with you.
While drifting through the Medina, you will discover treasures everywhere in any shape: spices, perfumes, handicrafts, carpets and jewelry. Between all the small shops you will find tiny fruit and vegetable stalls where farmers offer their freshly harvested products; old carriages serving as counters for fresh delicious bread. Everything is surrounded by a bewitching smell. The whole city seems to be enchanted by the drumming and singing, by snake charmers and storytellers. Calm and coolness can only be found once entering the very narrow streets. In Marrakech, it is easy though to feel comfortable and at home despite its strangeness and fascination - in this sea of seething life, bustling action, loud shouts and feverish, everlasting and never ending circle of boiling life. Indeed no other city in the world deserves the name Pearl of the South more than Marrakech.
