Join Kula Collective in this 31-day yoga teacher training and enjoy all the practices given. On the magical island of Bali, you will immerse yourself into the ancient teachings of yoga as you reveal the inner wisdom that lies within. This offering is an authentic opportunity to dive into the depths of sacred practice and ceremony to unveil the truth of who you are and why you are here. Come, play, relax, learn, and be nurtured!
You will stay at Kura Kura Yoga Retreat. The yoga center is an intimate resort on the shore of Bali and offers you an oasis of serenity, a sanctuary for the body, heart, and mind. It is a perfect ground to rejuvenate and emerge into the magic of Bali.
The surroundings invite you to rise to the song of the birds, take walks along the beach, visit the many local temples, watch the waves moving in, and experience amazing sunsets. The elegant simplicity of its six cottages will give you a feeling of being away and coming home. You can also enjoy the absence of TV-sets and iPods.
Upon completion of this yoga teacher training, students will receive certificate affiliated with Yoga Alliance. Registration with Yoga Alliance provides a globally recognized credential.
You will journey through the 3 worlds (lower, middle, and upper) and the 4 arts (living, healing, practice, and teaching), offering a unique experience as you uncover and discover your true nature. You will become inspired leaders in your communities and where you go in the world. Furthermore, on this 300-hour training, Kula Collective recommends that you have been teaching yoga for at least one year before participating.
The Chakana (the Andean cross) will provide a foundation to your time together as you explore the unconscious, physical abilities, and limitations in the lower world through an understanding of work and service. You will discover more of who you are as you experience more elemental awareness and self-inquiry in the middle world, and understand the difference between knowledge and wisdom.
As you do your work in the lower and middle worlds, you experience a sense of freedom in the upper world as you shift from the gross to more subtle realms of consciousness. In the upper world, you bask in your own light as you step into the power and live in love and beauty.
The 4 arts consist of practice, living, teaching, and healing. The art of practice includes asana, pranayama, and meditation infused with related themes, creative sequencing, and yoga ceremony. The art of living includes meditation and nueroscience, as well as the philosophy of sacred texts (Sutras, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and more).
Meanwhile, the art of teaching includes theory and methodology (pranayama, adjustments, alignment, sequencing, transitions, workshopping, and asana analysis). In addition, the art of healing consists of yoga therapy, Ayurveda, chakras and shamanism, and other energetic healing practices.
This yoga teacher training will be held at Kura Kura Yoga Retreat, settled just 50 steps from the beach of Seseh in Bali, Indonesia. Located in a traditional fishing village, the center is untouched by major tourism but close enough to the shops and buzz of Seminyak and on walking distance from Echo Beach, a famous Bali surf spot.
At this permaculture retreat center, you have an opportunity to live close to the earth as you feed your soul with freshly picked gourmet superfoods and cleansing rituals.
