You will be staying for three nights at the Churchtown House. This beautiful house has six bedrooms, all with spacious luxury bathrooms. Churchtown House is full of history, built in 1740 by Sir Roland Blennerhassett and has been in the Magill family since 1860.

The Killarney Lakes are three in number, Lough Leane, Middle Lake, and Upper Lake. It is excellent for salmon and brown trout. Trolling for salmon with either spoons or minnows is the most popular method used. Fly fishing for trout with wet flies is very effective but spinners can also be used.
You will also find some wonderful wild brown trout fishing in the Gap of Dunloe and Black Valley region. This area is full of small lakes and streams. Especially for the dedicated fly angler, you will have great fun with small brownies. The Lakes of Killarney are famous for their beauty: a truly magical place with a mild climate.
Whether you wish to trek to the top of Ireland's highest mountain range, explore Killarney's ancient woodland glens and valleys, or just stroll around its beautiful lakeshore walks, Churchtown House is the most perfect place to experience the great outdoors. It is only a few minutes’ drive from all the great outdoor experiences the region has to offer.
There are many different scenic areas to cycle from very short two-hour cycle to a full-day exploring experience. From cycling through the Gap of Dunloe with breath-taking scenery, many miles of cycle ways around the Lakes of Killarney and The National Park. Bike hire including electric cycles and guided tours can be provided.
Located about a mile west of Killarney Town and known locally as "O'Sullivan's", Killarney Riding Stables were established in 1968 by Donie O'Sullivan and is still very much a family business with Donies wife Noreen, their two daughters Lorraine and Aoife, and son William all involved.
Approved by the Irish Tourist Board and the Association of Irish Riding Establishments, the stables are home to some 70 horses who have been pampered even more than usual with the recent completion of new stabling constructed to the very Killarney Riding Stables. Being adjacent to Killlarney national Park, the casual customer can enjoy daily rides, one, two, or three-hour rides.
The Kerry region is one of the most beautiful places in Ireland for hunting woodcock, snipe, and sika deer. The Woodcock hunting season starts in late October and continues until the end of January. Sika Deer were introduced to Ireland by wealthy landowners. They escaped from the parks and invaded the land. The season runs from the start of September to late February.
