This is an immersive weekend of varied yoga practices for all levels. Some strong practices will be offered but modifications and alternatives will be given to beginners. Emma is a very inclusive teacher and an expert at meeting the needs of all those of varied levels in a class situation. You can expect radical radiance, energizing, and Surya (sunshine) replenishment. Especially seeking those who wish to dive into physical asana, get soulful and sweaty, detox, and sculpt both physically and spiritually.
Home to the Commonwork Trust and Commonwork Organic Farms Ltd, Bore Place is set in 500 acres of countryside which encompass an organic dairy farm, organic market gardens, conference centre, environmental education centre, as well as programmes to provide opportunities for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.
Arrival is from 4 p.m. on Friday. The first session is Emma’s wonderful Restorative yoga from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m. After dinner at 7 p.m., there will be a meditation before bedtime. Saturday morning begins with tea and fruit, followed by a deep, fiery Vinyasa Flow practice at 8:30 a.m. (beginner modifications will be offered) until breakfast at 10 a.m. Then comes the creative workshop from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. when lunch is served. Saturday afternoon offers another session of cooling Asana based yoga (Yin, Hatha, Somatics) from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
After dinner at 7 p.m., there will be a meditation before bedtime. The Sunday morning class will be another energizing Vinyasa Flow yoga session followed by free time to rest, reflect or explore. A closing meditation session completes the retreat from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. The retreat ends around 2:30 after lunch, recharged and revitalized.

Any special dietary requirements must give at least seven days notice.
During your free time, enjoy the glorious English countryside and bask in the sunshine around the enchanting grounds of Boreplace. The weekend also includes all locally sourced, healthy food, a creative workshop (such as pottery and claywork), and optional massage therapy.
Travel by train from Charing Cross or London Bridge (average journey time of 35 minutes to Sevenoaks, with a taxi ride to Bore Place and Commonwork Farm). Driving from London can take up to two hours on Fridays, so please allow plenty of time.
