Bikini BootCamp headquarters is located at beautiful Amansala. The perfect place for an escape to paradise. Consisting of 24 beautiful cabanas set in a village-like setting along with a beachfront restaurant and lounging terrace, yoga shalas, and massage rooms. A tranquil setting that embodies community yet space to relax on one’s own terrace or on the beautiful sunset lounge where the jungle stretches for as far as the eyes can see. Perfect for star gazing, sun rises, sunsets, or soaking up some sun.
Amansala is about getting back to basics, but with style and comfort. Accommodations range from beachfront suites to cozy rooms to meet all budgets and sizes. The architecture embodies the signature eco-chic style of Amansala that includes driftwood, mosaics, river rocks, smooth cement, and thatched roofs with staircases that weave together the various spaces within the resort.
Complete with soft furnishings, candles, incense, fresh flowers, and purified water, you’ll find your room provides the perfect setting for relaxing and sleeping. Most rooms have a large sitting area and outdoor terrace – perfect for lazing the afternoon away with a book or with friends. The bathrooms all have large wardrobe spaces, vanity, and dressing area.
Days are a combination of moving one’s body, healthy eating, relaxing, and exploring. Each day begins with journal writing followed by a stretch on the beach and a one hour power walk, and then varies from there to include a high energy cardio workout, some sort of sculpt, yoga, as well as other activities that may include an inspiring salsa, African, or belly dance class, an insightful meditation session or an informative presentation on the local culture, area, or nutrition.
Participation in everything is not mandatory but the way the day is scheduled makes it flow easily with a good amount of time set aside to enjoy the beach, read, walk, or just do nothing.
Beautiful flat ride along the beach to the ruins followed by a guided tour. When you get back to camp, you’ll definitely be ready to jump in the refreshing ocean. Unlike other cities, the pyramids of Tulum are small and most monuments had ceremonial functions. Tulum is the third most visited archaeological site of Mexico and a must see due to its extremely beautiful setting on a bluff overlooking the Caribbean Sea and located just a short bike ride from us.
Tulum’s Grand Cenote is a large beautiful garden cenote with gentle white sand beach type areas along with easily accessible caves for snorkeling and diving. You can swim around the edges of the cenote, viewing depths up to 10 meters.
Views include columns of stalactites and stalagmites of all shapes and sizes which resemble cities of skyscrapers. Large balls of roots and vines seem to grow out of the underwater ceiling, connected to the large jungle trees above. Schools of fish tend to follow, eating up the plant debri which swimming fins and paddling feet tend to stir up. Little green turtles also paddle around near the garden´s edge.
Enjoy a beautiful jungle walk before reaching the incredible ruins of Coba. The archaeological site of Coba, surrounded by five lakes, is still largely hidden in the sub-tropical vegetation. It contains about 6500 structures spread over nearly 70 km. This is the most important site of the Yucatán Peninsula that can only be compared with Chichen Itza his eternal rival, Archaeologists believe that Cobá had a population of 50 000 inhabitants (and possibly more) at its peak.
The Bikini BootCamp headquarters are located on a pristine beach in Tulum, Mexico - approximately 2 hours south of Cancun. Famous for the spectacular Mayan ruins, clear turquoise water and white sandy beaches, it is a relatively undiscovered eco-friendly paradise.
Sunbathers and swimmers indulging in a visit to Tulum Beach’s white, limestone sands and crystal blue waters need only look up in wonder at the ancient Mayan ruins - some from as early as A.D. 250 - dotting the cliffs above them to grasp the aura of ancient mystery that surrounds the beach.
The low fat diet consists of all local chemical free food. Fresh caught grilled fish, organic chicken, and fresh fruit such as mango, papaya, and pineapple. A variety of delicious signature salads that incorporate jicama, pumpkin seeds, and chia will also leave you satisfied, yet lighter and cleaner.
Tulum Pueblo sits split by highway 307 running south-north. “El Pueblo”, as referred to by locals, is home to most workers of the tourist industry and where many of the stores, supermarkets, two bus stations, inns, hostels, and small hotels are found. This section of town has a definite feel of existing mostly to cater to the Tulum ruins. Tulum Pueblo is indeed a destination for shopping, great restaurants, a modest night life, studying the language at Instituto Chac-Mool Spanish School, booking tours, banking, shopping for food, local vegetables, fruits, cafes, and local flavor. Do not miss it.
Additional massages, facials, or reflexology are 85 USD per hour. You can upgrade one of your included massages to a Mayan healing session for 45 USD.
12 hours’ notice is required on all spa services cancellations- including, but not limited to, massages and facials. Any spa service cancelled or postponed with less than 12 hours’ notice will be subject to the following conditions:
