During the retreat, you will stay at Bamboo Yoga Retreat, South Goa, India. Its beach bungalows are designed to blend beautifully with the breathtaking natural surroundings. Built on the fine white sand every season after the monsoon rains, the bungalows are simply stylish, comfortable, private, and eco-friendly.
Located directly behind the shala and beachfront lounge and just steps away from Patnem Beach, the boutique bungalows are designed to help you reconnect with nature. Each bungalow at Bamboo Yoga Retreat has one double or two single beds with comfortable European style mattresses, good linens, and mosquito netting, set in a spacious airy room.
Constructed to make use of the natural ventilation from the cooling sea breeze, the rooms also have ceiling fans for more tropical times of year. Attached bathrooms with western style toilets are open to the sky for the magical experience of showering under the stars.
All of the bungalows have beautiful natural panorama views and sea views and you can choose whether you want a beachfront sunset bungalow, an ocean mountain bungalow, or an ocean temple bungalow, which is quieter at night with its peaceful garden setting.
Regular housekeeping is available with fresh linens on request. However, you are asked to bring your own towels for the beach. The bungalows can be locked when you go out and free Wi-Fi is available. After you wake up in the morning, you will be served power super juice and tea for your breakfast. You will have morning two-hour yoga class afterwards. In the afternoon, you will have a large delicious brunch, cookies, and chai and enjoy your free time. You will practice evening sunset yoga that lasts for one and a half hours and enjoy the sunset from your sofa or hammock later on.

Goa’s mix of Indian and Portuguese heritage means you will find white churches poking out from the coconut palms alongside Hindu temples. Whilst some of north Goa has suffered from over-development, the far south is still unspoilt with its lush mountain range, beautiful backwaters, and long golden beaches.
Patnem beach is close to acclaimed Agonda Beach and one beach down from famous Palolem with its wide selection of souvenir stalls, restaurants, and nightlife. Local town Chaudi, a five-minute drive away, has banks and ATMs, a supermarket, well-stocked chemists, and a colourful Saturday fruit and vegetarian market. Patnem high street also has a useful mix of internet cafes, money exchange, travel agents, and shops selling clothing and souvenirs alongside everyday essential.
During the retreat, you will be served daily wholesome vegetarian brunch as well as daily morning power juices and tea. The food is all about flexibility and balance. It is wholesome and nutritious, cooked with love, but without compromising on flavor. The restaurant focuses on healthy locally sourced food, organic wherever possible, and international cooking by the team of highly trained passionate chefs.
To start your day, you will be served a freshly squeezed juice of the day, which could be watermelon and ginger or pineapple lemon and mint to cleanse your body and give you an energy boost for your sun salutations. There is also a big fresh tropical fruit salad every morning. A big brunch is served after the morning yoga session which consists of homemade yogurt, local Goa breads, eggs, and muesli with some Indian inspired vegetable dishes and salads.
