During the retreat, you will be staying in comfortable rooms at Casa Iemanja Retreat Center. It is a quiet place surrounded by nature that is dedicated especially to personal development. You will stay in a shared room (up to 6 yogis). The house offers a lovely garden, chill out areas, panoramic views of the mountains and a swimming pool where you can relax.

Classes

During this retreat, you will be able to practice Hatha Raja yoga, Vinyasa, pranayama, meditation, satsang, and deep relaxation.

Hatha Raja yoga

This is a classic yoga practice with an extended stay in positions, breathing should be calm, and position will be stable and comfortable.

Dharma or Vinyasa yoga

The practice is based on the Shiva Namaskar Vinyasa series, developed by Master Sri Dharma Mittra. The practice combines classic asanas, challenging asanas, and free Vinyasa yoga Nidra (deep relaxation yoga), pranayama, and meditation.

Satsang and meditation

These sessions will offer you spiritual lessons teaching about yogi philosophy in everyday life.

Pranayama

The classes of pranayama and Kriya yoga are based on ancient methods for controlling the life force, and methods to cleanse the body and mind as well as meditation sessions. Explore pranayama, the practice to center your attention on the breath in different ways.

Together, you will experience the benefits of breathing in order to apply them in different situations in your daily life, how to use breathing to calm the nervous system and to increase the power of vital energy. You will also learn about yoga nadis (psychic channels) and the chakras (energy circuits).

  • 07:00 Hatha yoga and meditation or workshop
  • 09:00 Breakfast
  • 11:30 Meditative walking in nature
  • 13:00 Lunch followed by free time
  • 18:30 Vinyasa yoga (Dharma yoga)
  • 20:00 Dinner followed by satsang & meditation

This retreat includes a special beach session in the beautiful beach of Mallorca.

  • Shahar Abiad

    Shahar is an experienced yoga teacher and yoga therapist. He was born in Argentina and immigrated to Israel in 2000. Currently, he is living in Barcelona. He began to practice yoga as a process of self-realization, and ever since, he continues to explore and study the discipline. The philosophy of yoga is now an important pillar of his way of life. He was certified to teach yoga by the legendary Master Yogi Sri Dharma Mittra. Shahar teaches yoga workshops and retreats in Europe, Israel, and Argentina.

This retreat will take place at Casa Iemanja in Inca, Balearic Islands, Spain. It is only 20 minutes away from the most beautiful beaches of Balearic Islands.

    PROS Pro's: La experiencia ha sido más que fantástica, lo recomiendo al 100%. El entorno prefecto; una casa preciosa que transmite mucha paz; muy buena organización combinando estupendas clases de yoga con salidas a la playa y otras excursiones; la comida excelente ( y me considero una persona de paladar exigente y se agradece mucho tener todo el día a disposición fruta, galletas e infusiones). La compañía de los demás "yoguis" y de Shahar fue inmejorable así como también la de Óscar, de l'espai de l'Harmonia, que pudimos disfrutar de su hermosa capacidad de escucha y sabiduría. Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable que sin duda hay que repetir! :)

    "I went with Katy and Shahar on this retreat in May and it has been an amazing experience! Everything was extremely well organized. The retreat took place in a beautiful Buddhist house in the mountains, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. The class schedule was very well balanced with rest time in between and a lot of variation in the program, alternating meditation, breathing exercises, and Hatha yoga. Shahar built up the classes very well, starting light to prepare for a more profound practice later on in the weekend, as well he threw in some very welcoming surprises.
