You will stay in a shared twin or private room according to your choice. Triple rooms and quad rooms are also available.

Private or twin room

Private studios consist of one main bedroom with double bed. Shared apartments consist of a double bed with loft beds. Bright, clean and spacious rooms. All are equipped with fridges, en-suite bathrooms and terrace or patios which offer privacy and a place to unwind.

In perfect harmony with the landscape, the complex consists of 3 detached traditional Cycladic buildings - architecturally inspired by local houses, among gardens and pots filled with local plants and flowers.

It will be the experience of a lifetime, with a chance to immerse yourself in the life-changing practices of Pilates, yoga and meditation, and to connect with some of your favorite Azul instructors in this relaxed and tranquil retreat setting.

As well as the expert teachings you will also find yourself re-balanced by the beautiful nature of Santorini, with inspiring walks and views all around. Please note: You don’t need any previous knowledge or experience with Pilates or yoga to take part in this course. Likewise, experienced practitioners are also welcome as we will split classes to offer basic and advanced tuition separately, ensuring everyone gets the most from the course.

    Frauke is een Kundalini yoga- en meditatie-instructrice. Ze heeft een internationaal Kundalini yoga docentencertificaat (door Yogi Bhajan), is Quiro massagetherapeute en een sportinstructrice. Ze is gecertificeerd door het Kundalini Research Institute, geeft les in de stijl van Yogi Bhajan en is vollid van de Spaanse Associatie van Kundalini. Fauke is gepassioneerd in wat ze doet en elke meditatieles laat ze ons verbinden en reinigen. Je zal iedere minuut van haar les genieten door middel van de warme meditatie, energetische asana's en als laatste, ontspanning.

  • Jo Dombernowsky

    Jo is een Pilates-instructrice en voedingsadviseur. Ze is een Stott Pilates MAT-plus instructrice (matwerk, fitness-cirkel, flexband, arc-barrel), voedingsdeskundige en diëtiste - Dietetica y nutricin ISMET -Instituto Superior de Medicinas Tradicionales, Barcelona en is auteur van Healthy, Truly Delicious. Jo is een geavanceerde beoefenaar en inspirerende instructeur van Stott Pilates. Haar lessen leggen de nadruk vooral op het begrijpen van de juiste vorm, lichaamsbewustzijn en de lichaamssynergie, zodat studenten de kennis en vaardigheid opdoen om veilig en snel vooruitgang te boeken in hun Pilates.

    Valentina is een inspirerende docent, en mixt klassieke hatha yoga geschikt voor alle niveau's met vinyasa om klassen leuk te maken, uitdagend en inspirerend. Ze maakt verbinding met elke student en haar warme, open houding geeft haar de mogelijkheid om te zien wat studenten echt nodig hebben. Ze heeft getraind met oude Indiase methoden tijdens verschillende studies over de hele wereld. Klassen met Valentina verbeteren je behendigheid, flexibiliteit en ademcontrole. Valentina gelooft in yoga's fysieke en mentale voordelen, die een holistische harmonie in onze lichamen creëert door asana's en pranayama.

Santorini

Crescent-shaped Santorini is considered the precious gem of the Aegean. With its white-washed cliff top villages set against the deep blue sky, multicolored beaches, vast volcanic vineyards, crystal clear waters and world famous sunsets, it is easy to fall under the spell of this magical, mythical island.

The island exploded into being - the result of 12 huge eruptions over 20,000 years - with the collapsing volcano creating a huge caldera (crater) in the sea. You can even scuba dive in this giant lagoon, to adventure into the crater and discover for yourself whats left of the opening of the volcano.

Oia

Your retreat home of Oia is located high up on what is considered the balcony of Santorini. Oia is known for its amazing views of the volcano. There could not be a more fitting location for this The Fire Within retreat. Just two kilometers from the beach with inspiring walks and views all around, this is a chance to truly unwind and explore the many facets of beautiful Santorini.

The culture, architecture, geography and gastronomy of Santorini are all reasons to visit in themselves. You can head down to the crystalline coast to take a cooling dip in the deep blue waters and enjoy the stunning beaches with white, red or black sand, spectacular rock formations and impressive lunar landscapes. Stroll through traditional villages, with narrow streets leading you on an adventure through time gone by. Treat your taste buds to the tantalizing local food, with a whole host of delicious products to sample - some of it coming straight to your table from the organic garden of your Greek host, Antonis. It doesnt get much more authentic than this.

The sublime setting of Santorini will fire you up for an incredible week of wellbeing. Adding exceptional instruction in Pilates and yoga, delicious organic food and excellent company to the equation.

Daily breakfasts will be served after the morning session.

Healthy organic evening meals are included and are grown from the retreat center's garden. They are vegetarian multi course meals, with starters and a main course. Fish will also feature on the menu two nights, and vegetarian options will be provided each night.

Exclusions

Lunch is available for an additional cost at the retreat center restaurant, or you can explore the nearby village during your down time.
