This yoga program is initiated for those people who wants to combine the yoga practices during their stay in Pokhara without missing the sight and beauty of the location whether it is mountains, caves, lakes, sunrise, temples, or peace stupa. It can be arranged with a single person or with a group of 15 or more people. In this retreat, guests and students will be introduced and exposed to different locations of Pokhara for morning yoga classes.

In this retreat, you will be staying at Atmashree Yoga Retreat. All the rooms at this retreat center are equipped with private bathrooms. You will have options to choose private single room or shared room that will be shared with two or three people. The rooms are available on first-come-first-serve basis.

If it rains in the morning, the program will be postponed to evening. The timetable above is just the indicative, it may change according to weather or need of time.
You will hike and visit three different locations during your retreat, which includes Sarangkot Hill Top, Begnas Lake, and World Peace Stupa. These are places nearby Pokhara and will be your destination for morning yoga classes.
Bihar Yoga Bharti (Hatha Yoga)
Sannyasi Atmapradeep grew up in a yogic environment since his childhood, in a yoga ashram close to his home. He started his yoga journey at the age of 12. Later, he went to Bihar Yoga Bharati for four months to be certified in yogic science. After completing his course, he established himself in a yoga ashram in Kathmandu as a yoga instructor, and further continued his yogic journey. From more than 20 years, he has involved himself in living, promoting, and teaching yoga for mankind and traveled around the world. He is now a Hatha yoga teacher in a center.
Bihar school of yoga (Satyananda Yoga)
Mantraprem came into yoga and spiritual life at the age of 17. After completing his school, he went to Bihar School of Yoga (Satyananda yoga) Munger, where he stayed in ashram environment participating in ashram routine and lifestyle for five years. During this period, he got initiated into Karma Sannyasa. He lived a yogic and spiritual disciplined life in the ashram. Mantraprem learned different aspects of yoga such as Hatha yoga, Mantra yoga, Bhakti yoga, Raja yoga, Kirtans and more. Now, he gives classes of Hatha yoga, mantra chanting, Nada yoga, Raja yoga, meditation, and yoga Nidra.
This retreat will take place in Pokhara, Nepal. Atmashree Yoga Retreat is nestled in a beautiful valley of Pokhara in the foothills of mountains far away from the noisy crowd and on the banks of Phewa Lake. The scenery here is a God-gifted view of Fewa Lake, forest, and birds with heart touching sounds.
In this retreat, you will be served three daily meals, consisting of traditional organic, Ayurvedic, and vegetarian Nepalese food, such as soup, salad, chapatti, rice pudding, rice, curry, herbal tea, milk tea, coffee, porridge, fruits, and yogurt. Bottled water will be provided and herbal tea is available throughout the day.
On your free time, you can do various activities such as cycling, hand boating, paragliding, bungee jumping, etc. You can also visit tourist destinations such as Buddha stupa, caves, fall, temples, local village, and lakes. All of these activities are subject to additional costs. If you feel like reading, you can always borrow yoga related books at the retreat center.
Please book your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu. From there, you can take a domestic flight and arrive at Pokhara Airport (PKR).
Please get a bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara bus station which you can get on a daily basis from 07:00 to 10:00 which costs around 10 to 15 USD. Then, after reaching Pokhara, get a taxi from Pokhara bus station to Atmashree Yoga Retreat.
Once you have reached Kathmandu, please book a taxi and ask the driver to drop you to Atmashree Yoga Retreat in Pokhara. The distance from Kathmandu to Pokhara is 200 kilometers and the taxi fare is from 100 to 120 USD. It will be the wonderful drive of six hours witnessing the beauty of mountains, rivers, hills, and many more.
