The accommodation is at the stylish and stunning beachfront villa, Kwacha House. You will enjoy either a choice of a private king-sized bedroom, shared twin room or triple room which all have private en-suite bathrooms. The main living area (Banda) is sand-floored and coconut frond-thatched with sailcloth awnings to provide shade and filter the breeze. There are two comfortable sitting areas with Swahili day beds, a large dining table, a breakfast bar, chairs and coffee tables.
Just off the main room is a fifth bathroom and shower for your guests. The Banda also houses the kitchen and pantry. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas oven, juicer, toaster, coffee percolator, a large fridge. Between the arched entrances to the towers and the main living area, you will stumble across our new plunge pool. A cool blue freshwater oasis in which to bask and play for a few leisurely hours while the tide is out and the sun is high overhead. Kwacha House has tried to outfit the house with everything you will need to have an enjoyable stay.
There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms in each tower. The upstairs bedrooms are accessed by a wooden staircase from the courtyard up to a gallery, covered veranda, en-suite bathrooms and are also connected to the downstairs rooms by an internal spiral staircase in each tower. The two towers are linked by an arched bridge and have roof terraces accessible internally via the spiral stairs which are ideal for private sunbathing or repulsing marauding infidels with a rain of arrows as well as boiling oil. Colored glass arched windows cast a lovely submarine blue light in the rooms. The white neru plaster is also cool on the soles of your feet and soothing to the eye.
You will go on a day trip of your choice. You may choose one among dolphin swimming, sea safari, spice farm tour or Stone Town tour.
