Welcome, friends, to Open Sky where you will immediately feel relief in this quiet oasis. As you have lost connection to the natural world, so have you lost connection to yourself in all the noise of your day-to-day life. A self-reclamation retreat brings you back home to your own origin story. Earthing, grounding, forest bathing, drumming, chanting, and listening within through meditation and open time for quiet reflection allows for transformative healing. Much of this retreat will be silent to allow for a needed self-reclamation. There will be group sharing and time for individual dialogue with Nitya to support you in your journey but otherwise, this will be silent. This week-long retreat allows for the time you need to unpack all that sits on your heart, surrendering to the healing powers of nature, and reconnecting to your authentic self. You will find this experience to be transformative and life-changing.
There are two guest rooms to choose from. The shared room offers a single and full-size bed, soft rocking chair, and desk. The view from the room is lovely, right by a magnolia and crepe myrtles with the eastern sunlight streaming in the morning. The spacious private room has a sitting area and a queen-sized bed. The view from the private room is of the rolling fields and woods. All guests share the main upstairs bath.
Your itinerary includes daily Hatha yoga, meditation, journaling, self-inquiry, earthing, and other nature connection activities, and exploring your belonging through Toko-pa Turner's book Belonging. How your life path can lead you to feel disconnected from ourselves leading to anxiety, stress, depression, and a lack of feeling fulfilled in your lives.
You will explore this through rich self-explorative activities like mapping your archetypal wheel, journaling, nature connection, fire ceremony, and a water grief/loss / longing ceremony. Feel deliciously nourished with farm-to-table vegetarian/vegan meals locally sourced. This is the ultimate self-healing retreat, a true investment in yourself, in a small, intimate gathering of 1-3 women.
