"Excellent Yoga in a beautiful setting"

As this was my first Yoga retreat I wasn't sure what to expect, but I can safely say it was a very enjoyable experience. Airport transfers are included and I was whisked away into the Cypriot countryside, to a shared villa in the quaint village of Kormakatis. The villa itself is located on a hillside with excellent views across the fields out to the sea, and has comfortable rooms with a fan.

The Yoga is taught by a wonderful Finnish lady called Susie who introduced us to a number of different styles of Yoga (Yin, Hatha, Pranyama, Somatic, Vinyasa, Astanga) and taught with a calm and measured approach which complimented the stunning locations. Morning Yoga takes place on the roof terrace of the Villa and proves an excellent vantage point in which to watch the sun slowly rise across the vista. Afternoon/evening sessions were held in a variety of different locations, including on two different beach fronts, both of which provided good energy to the practice. On a whole, and as it was my first retreat, I am very pleased with the Yoga!

Three daily meals provided, with breakfast taking place in the charming village coffee house and prepared by locals, as was dinner on a couple of nights - the affectionately named Grandma providing beautiful fresh local and traditional food. Lunch was taken at local restaurants - excellent fresh fish!

Yoga aside activities included horse riding, a boat trip and visits to a couple of different beaches.

Overall a great experience provided by Ioannis!

Das Yoga Retreat bei Ioannis war wunderschön, sehr ruhig und entspannend. Wir haben viel miteinander gelacht und interessante Gespräche geführt.

Für unsere Yoga Stunden morgens und nachmittags kam eine externe, sehr erfahrene Yoga Lehrerin namens Suzie. Sie ist ein super liebevoller Mensch und eine sehr, sehr gute Lehrerin, die mit uns unterschiedliche Yoga Arten geübt hat und uns einiges dazu erklärt hat.

Unsere Gruppe war sehr klein, wir waren 2 Leute, aber das hat die Woche noch entspannter gemacht. Unsere Freizeit konnten wir aktiv mitgestalten, wir waren reiten, haben eine Bootstour gemacht und genug Zeit zum entspannen hatten wir auch.

Gefrühstückt haben wir im Dorf in einem kleinen Café. Die Besitzerin ist eine ältere super nette und zuvorkommende Dame bei der wir auch zwei Mal zu Abend gegessen haben. Ansonsten haben wir meistens in naheliegenden Restaurants gegessen.

Ich hab mich in der Zeit super wohl und willkommen gefühlt und bin sehr ausgeglichen und entspannt zurückgekehrt.

Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!
