Find your inner power! Resilience is the ability to master crises by using existing resources and to use them as an opportunity for development. Promoting resilience means strengthening yourself internally and externally in order to deal with everyday life, crises, and challenging life situations with strength, trust, and serenity.
Together with Melanie and Daniela, yoga and mindfulness training will increase your awareness so that your personal resources can develop further. Let your inner power come to light so that you can return to everyday life powerfully and optimistically from the desert.
You will be picked up at Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK) and taken to the riad. Here, you can make initial contacts with the city of Marrakech. The Tamegroute ovens poured the emerald green glaze that is so easy to see on mosque tiles, dishes, and pots all over Morocco. In the nearby Nassiria library, there is, among other things, a 10-year golden Koran as well as various contracts on astronomy, medicine, and Arabic poetry.
Before you leave the asphalt behind and face the Sahara, you are recommended to visit a traditional ksoir and to have lunch in Mhamid. From Mhamid, you reach the dunes of Erg Chigaga over various types of desert. Before sunset, practice resilience coaching (personal responsibility and self-efficacy). Dinner and accommodation will take place in a private tent.
Sunrise, resilience coaching (solution orientation and creativity), and breakfast await you. At about 10 a.m., you will ride the camels to the sacred oasis Oum Laalag for about 2 hours. Back in the camp, you will practice resilience coaching (acceptance and relevance to reality) and watch the beautiful sunset together. Dinner and accommodation are like the day before.
You get up early in the morning to admire the sunrise and walk through the dunes. After breakfast, the journey continues towards Hamada (rocky desert), where you cross the dry Lake Iriki. Here, you can drink tea with the nomads, then make your way to Foum Zuguid and there, you will have a lunch break.
You take the route west to the village of Tazenakht which is famous for the huge selection of Berber carpets. In the late afternoon, you reach Taroudant. There, you will practice resilience coaching (optimism and self-assessment), have dinner, and overnight in the hotel.
You will practice Vinyasa flow yoga from 8 to 9 a.m. After breakfast, the tour goes through the city walls and rummages for the best argan oil or honey in Morocco. Then, you continue on the highway, arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon for resilience coaching (shaping the future and developing visions). There, you will spend the last night in a riad in the medina including dinner.
