The organic beauty and cleaning products were divine, we now use them at home. Our delivered breakfasts were wholesome, natural and simply scrumptious (our children also loved them!). The hosts were exceptional and welcomed us with open arms and hearts. Yoga with Amrita was eye opening and spiritually enlightening. Have never felt more at home and pampered on our family holiday and cannot wait to return. Thank you Andrea and Sat."

The soap and shampoo from the soap dispensary in Vancouver were one of the many lovely touches around the loft. We loved our yoga sessions with Andrea who tailored her classes to our level and gave us great direction and insight. The breakfasts were lovely and thoughtful and just as pretty as our surroundings. "I think the really telling sign that Nectar Yoga Bed and Breakfast is something truly special, is that as we drove back to Vancouver after our stay there, we were both in a state of deep peace, inner stillness, and joy. It felt like we were returning to the human world from a magical, fairytale-esque faraway land, where we experienced a heightened sense of connectedness with nature and with ourselves. To mention a few details that stood out for me, falling asleep in the cottage with an open view into the forest is a wonderful thing to experience, and Andrea's gluten-free breakfast pancakes have certainly topped my list of the most delicious pancakes I have ever tried, gluten-free or otherwise. We didn't try the yoga this time but that's a definite for our next visit! If you are looking for a truly peaceful and recharging getaway, or to enter a space that is ideal for inner reflection or creativity, this is absolutely the place for you."

"From the time I drove up the front drive of the property, en route to the Nectar loft, I thought wow! I was then greeted by the hosts of Nectar Yoga Bed and Breakfast and directly shown the cabin where I would stay for two wonderful delightful days and nights. Everything from the architecture and layout of the cabin, to the well-appointed details and country setting was outstanding. The convenience to local transit, walking, hiking, yoga, eateries, shopping, and all my needs were close at hand. The option to have yoga or meditation was brilliant. Breakfast included was healthy and tasty. Overall my stay at Nectar Yoga Bed and Breakfast was 10 out of 10. I recommend this retreat setting to anyone looking for a break from city life or normal day to day routine. A must do. Thanks to the hosts for their encouraging revival Bowen style."

"Nectar Yoga Bed and Breakfast on Bowen Island made me have a wonderful, unforgettable time on the island. The place is perfect, whether you want to use it as a Bed and Breakfast stay or whether you are doing the yoga retreat. The architecture of the main house is beautiful, the guesthouse is a small but modern, cozy hut, that can comfortably hold two people. Four is also possible. Everything in it is carefully chosen, lots of thoughtful, lovely details that create an atmosphere of omnipresent welcome. I felt at home immediately. The host Andrea and her partner were very friendly and accommodating and prepared a delicious, creative breakfast every morning. Andrea is a wonderful person and a very gifted yoga teacher that generously shares her knowledge, wisdom, her humor, and her big warm heart. She has a beautiful voice that is balm for the senses in both her yoga and her meditation classes. The close environment was perfect for me too. There is a small, beautiful beach a couple of minutes walking distance, the walk around Killarny Lake is close by, as well as the small village at the ferryboat station. The whole package does what the name promises: the place and the people make you restore your batteries, open and renew your mind, heart and soul and make you find your inner place of peace again.Thank you, Andrea. I hope I will come back soon!"

"I was fortunate enough to do something out of the ordinary and book holiday at the Sivananda ashram in the Bahamas. I have never been to an ashram and was basically a beginner at yoga. My one week stay turned into two, and then into three weeks, and I became immersed in the culture and practice of yoga. I have learned more about what's important in my life and about myself during those three weeks than at any other point in my life. It has changed my life forever. Amrita, a young and beautiful soul was one of my teachers throughout my stay and through her teachings and guidance, I blossomed the most. She taught me so much about yoga, meditation, breathing, posture, form, the mind, and self love that I cannot begin to explain how that has transformed my life so far. I am eternally grateful for her knowledge, kindness, and her spirit that guided me through the most important and transformational times in my life. Om Shanti."

I have taken yoga on and off for many years, but this course changed my life. I give all the credit to Amirita. She has much knowledge that she shares with such a loving and enthusiastic attitude. It is obvious that Amirita has found her path in life, because it shows every day you are with her. I am looking forward to working with Amrita in the future"

"How many words can one use to describe the incredible experience I have had in the Bahamas? I know in my heart what made my week special was the personal commitment of our teacher Amrita. When I arrived I thought I knew what yoga was. But now I realize I knew one very small piece. I understand why building it into my life was going to be difficult when I returned home. However now, after being taught by Amrita, she has shown me how to begin changing my life. I needed my new chapter in life to begin and she is part of that. Her belief and passion was inspirational and instrumental to me. I will always be grateful. I look forward to her being my teacher again one day and showing her that I now can do a head stand."

"Possibly the most relaxing and easy weekends away ever. Accommodations were welcoming, and comfortable with lots of thoughtful amenities (q-tips, flashlight, umbrellas, and slippers). Loft bed was so comfy and I loved waking up to the trees and the deer. One thing that would make this perfect for me as a writing retreat would be either a little desk or lower stools with a back for the counter - bar to set up your laptop. Breakfasts were delicious, fresh, perfect complement after morning yoga. (Pancakes and fruit one morning, toast, yogurt and muesli the next). The kitchen is great if you want to heat some soup or make a cup of tea, not really designed for a big meal preparation - and that's fine - lots of good places to eat on Bowen - don't spend your holiday inside cooking. Yoga classes and meditation were excellent and I would rate those a 5-star. Great assessment of level of ability and needs, clear thoughtful instruction, I learned so much in one weekend. Challenges have nothing to do with Nectar but rather the island itself. Wi-Fi is spotty and unless you have a car it is tricky to get around the island easily as bus service is infrequent. Lastly, it rained all weekend, which was perfectly fine as all I wanted to do was yoga, writing and sleeping, but be prepared for rain and good afternoon with a book or some scrabble."

"One of the best experiences I have had in my life. The knowledge Amrita shared has broadened my perspective. It has given me the power to believe in my own strength for changes in my life. Thank you so much for every minute with you."
