Nectar Spa is offering this 200-hour yoga teacher training course to learn and deepen your sadhana in all the aspects of yoga in the land where many yogis are enlightened. Within the 29 days, you will not only learn and get certification for yoga but also learn massage and a free session of singing bowl healing. In addition, as a part of Karma yoga, you will also get the opportunity to go to the village with the Nectar Spa team and help and heal many villagers/farmers, women, and old people at a project called, "Healing for Humanity". Last but not least, Nectar Spa will also give you the opportunity to go trekking in the Himalayas for three days with a certified trekking guide and yoga teacher.
During this program, you will stay in some accommodations as the program requires you to do a tour of some places. For 23 nights, you will be accommodated at a beautiful bamboo and mud house in Amrit Yoga Avyashalaya, Mudkhu Bhanjyang near Shivapuri Nagarjun National park. For the rest of the program, you will stay in a tea house, homestay, and mountain lodges during the treks and the "Healing for Humanity" program.
This program is a combination of 200-hour yoga teacher training, Ayurveda massage training, trekking, and Karma yoga. Welcome to the land of yoga, Himalayas, mountains, natural beauties, Tantra, Shiva, and Buddha where a great yogi and sage Machhendranth and his disciple Goraknath had done their sadhana (deep practice) and spared yoga and Tantra. Since then, many yogis got their initiation here and many of them enlightened in this land.
In this training, you will not only learn and get certification for yoga but will also learn an Ayurvedic massage. As a part of Karma Yoga, you will get an opportunity to go to the village with the Nectar Spa team and help and heal some villagers/farmers, women, and old people at the project "Healing for Humanity".
Nectar Spa will also give you the opportunity to go trekking for three days with a guide/yoga teacher. So, this is not just yoga teacher training, it's a complete package of yoga, massage, volunteer activity and trekking.

This week you will do yoga colon cleansing called Snakha Prakshalana, which is recommended to do twice a year for everyone.
Schedules are subject to change with/without notice depending on various factors.
On the 25th day, you will do Karma yoga (volunteering) for a project called "Healing for Humanity". During this program, you will visit a village, where you will offer the villagers free massage, yoga, and a singing bowl. The next day, you will begin your trekking for the next three days to Sailung. Once the trekking is done, you will return to Kathmandu.
Among the total duration, 24 days will be part of teaching yoga and learning massage. On the 25th day, you will be taken for volunteering. It will be located in a small village in the Ramechhap District, called Gagal Bhadaure. It is about 140 kilometers away from Kathmandu. It takes a 3 to 4-hour drive from Kathmandu by Jeep, so, you will be there at around 10 a.m.
After breakfast and a short rest, the "Healing for Humanity" program will begin. In this program, you along with a team of massage therapists will be providing free massage for the villagers. You will be staying in the homestays, which is a great opportunity to explore real Nepal and real connections with family.
On the 26th day, treks begin from the same village to Sailung. Sailung is a very famous place in this area. You will be home staying at Danda Kharka, a nearby village of Sailung.
On the 27th day, you will climb Sailung, the place from where you can have a beautiful view of all the ranges of the Himalayas from Everest, Langtang, Annapurna to Dhaulagiri region. You will again stay in a homestay or a small mountain tea house in a village called Lamche Ahal.
On the 28th day, you will travel back from Lamche Ahal to Mudhe by jeep or by bus to Kathmandu. On the 29th day, have morning yoga, breakfast, and check-out.
Amrit was born and raised in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal and spent a number of years living in ashrams, where he learned, practiced, and experienced the science of yoga and living the spiritual lifestyle. He spent several years teaching Hatha yoga, cleansing workshops and delivering quality therapeutic massage services. While studying his bachelor’s degree in social science at university, Amrit completed six months of training in his yoga certification and naturopathic and massage studies in Nepal, in addition to completing his 200-hour classical Tantra yoga.
All yoga teacher training classes will be held in Amrit Yoga (Nectar Spa), Mudkhu Bhanjyang, Kathmandu near Shivapuri- Nagarjun National Park, Nepal. After the 24-day training, you will volunteer and stay in a small village. The next day, you will start trekking. The program ends when you return to Kathmandu.

Vegetarian meals are provided daily from Sunday to Friday. Herbal tea, hot and cold water, as well as seasonal fruits, is available for free during the study period but this is not included during the trekking day.
