"Fantastic little peace haven only 30 minutes from Chiang Mai centre. Excellent and spacious room, with brilliant outdoor shower and nice AC. Top-quality natural shampoo, conditioner and bath gel provided. Food and service in restaurant is reasonable but portions are a bit small (pasta, pad thai, etc. all served with only 3 prawns, which was disappointing. The common pool area is nice (no need to invest in a room with private pool) and picking your own vegetables and eggs to eat can be fun. There is a nice spa with an extensive range of options. The best part about it all is by far the yoga. The teacher Hiromi is fantastic and classes can be individually adapted to suit your level and needs. Well worth a trip for a few days if you're looking for either the best yoga in town or a nice place to chill."

"I stayed here for 3 nights whilst volunteering at the local dog shelter. I stayed in a garden bungalow. The resort is clean and staff were always very attentive and professional. The resort is approx 20 minutes out of Chiang Mai city centre but the hotel does offer a free shuttle into the old town twice daily. The resort is quite quiet but good for relaxation. The food was the only thing that let my stay down. I tried various dishes but was not impressed. The room I had was large, dimly lit and painted but with an amazing waterfall shower :-) The spa on site is also worth a visit, I had both a massage and facial and was impressed. The hotel pool is very small and not the cleanest but this is the rainy season and low season so it may be better during high time. Would definitely recommend staying here, if the food improves it would be a 5 star experience."

"Tranquil oasis in the middle of Thai jungle with fine dining. We had a spacious private pool room. Both breakfast and dinner are freshly made and extremely tasteful. All veggies, herbs and fruit come from an onsite organic garden."

"It was very nice to stay at the Narittaya Resort and Spa. The first thing about this place is how quiet it is. It's a little bit out of the way, but once you get there you can come and go as you please. Each cottage is pretty much self contained and spread around the landscaped gardens. Your "neighbours" are around 50 metres away from your room/cottage. I didn't explore too much around but I was just happy to relax in and around the cottage. There is a small pool onsite and many of the other cottages even had their own pool. So if you want that option, it is available. Apart from at breakfast, I never saw any other guests. Although I had a few excursions already planned as I live in Chiang Mai already, but it was great for a short break! There are plenty of onsite activities to join if you are that way inclined, but you could also just hangout inside, during the hot afternoons. I live locally in Chiang Mai, so had my own transport available. We had breakfast included and it was a great way to start the day. The ricotta and honey option was spectacular. The breakfast selection was quite good all round. Our bathroom included an open air shower and that was interesting, but not a problem at all. Just be prepared! The whole stay was very nice and I would probably return again if I had the opportunity."

"I book the pool villa at this hotel. First, this hotel is far from the city. You should get a car to this hotel, but the hotel provides a shuttle between town and hotel or between hotel and airport. You need to inform the frontdesk 2 hours in advance. The room is very good. I had an issue with ants on the bed, but the housekeeping fixed it. It's amazing. The private pool villa is perfect. You can find other hotels of similar quality, but I think this place is good value for money. If you want to relax and have some private time, I have to recommend this hotel."

"We stayed for 2 nights in total here. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Also, all the staff are very helpful, friendly and polite. They would assist you as possible as they can if you needed. They grow their own produce. The food is healthy and delicious. Thanks all the staff of Narittaya Resort and Spa again."

"I stayed 3 nights in this resort. It is a bit far from Chiang Mai, but if you are looking for a relaxing place, this is the place to be! The bungalow was very clean, rather basic, but very comfortable! The food was delicious, a bit expensive compared to in town, but seen the quality, it was worth the money. My best food in Thailand. The service was great. I also enjoyed a great spa treatment! For me this was the relaxing spot i was looking after travelling around for more than 2 weeks!"

"The environment is very good. The surround view is very nice if you love nature. When I stayed there, the rice just grew up in the farm at the back of resort. The salad was made with fresh vegetable. If you can wake up early in the morning, there is a small local market with food at the entry which is about 5 mins by bicycle from resort."

"We spent 4 nights at the Narritaya. The pool villas are just perfect, clean and quiet. The food is amazing and most of the ingredients come from their organic garden. The chocolate mud cake is a must try. The spa is also the place to go if you want to relax. The staff is really helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to go there again!"

" We stayed at narittaya resort and spa for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay tremendously. The resort is located in a very peaceful and quiet area and perfect for people enjoying nature, relaxing and "being away from it all". The cottages are spacious and come with a large bathroom, have free WiFi, a small fridge, TV, air con and coffee/tea making facilities. The staff at the resort is outstanding. Breakfast and meals are a feast with many home- made dishes and veggies and herbs from the resort's own garden. Don't look further; stay in this amazing resort!"

" Our stay at Narittaya resort with its great food (with organic ingredients from the garden), relaxing feel and refreshing pools was just the thing we were hoping for.In particular the yoga with Hiromi exceeded our expectations and we all learnt so much far beyond what we thought possible in only a week thanks to Hiromi's knowledgeable, capable, patient and very committed teaching. We had a yoga class every day of our one week stay and it made our days here at Narittaya. Hiromi is a truly experienced Sivananda yoga teacher and her classes are an outstanding contribution to the resort."

"This is an authentic oasis of peace and positive, happy energy in beautiful leafy natural surroundings, topped up by the unique culinary experience. We are already looking forward to being back next year. The spa continues to be very ably led by the inimitable Hiromi san, whose mastery of Shivananda yoga adds another dimension to a stay at Narittaya."
