  • Review by a traveler from New York, New York

"Many thanks to Agustina, Dagos, Alejandra, Alejandro and the full team at Pranmar Villas. Just returned from an amazing trip and while it rained the majority of the time, we found ways to enjoy every bit of our week. The rooms are perfect for groups to hang out on the pool decks or villa balconies. The food is beyond yummy. Ask for the smoothies, you will not be disappointed! Thank you and we will be back!"

  • Review by Michelle M. from Manhattan Beach, California

"I attended a yoga/surf/sup retreat hosted at Pranamar which was wonderful, it is truly a gem. The facility is beautiful, rooms very comfortable, all the amenities you need and food is excellent. It is a quiet place to read, relax, reflect or, enjoy a cocktail by the pool and definitely catch amazing sunsets. Whatever you like, it's there. The beach is steps away and just a short walk away is excellent surfing. The yoga shala is large, open and fully shaded. I had excellent classes with Nancy who is an incredible yoga instructor with a wealth of training and knowledge. I loved her energy and style. Everyone from the office to the restaurant staff and massage therapists are professional, laid back and always willing to go the extra mile. I will definitely return. Absolutely loved the whole experience."

  • Review by Leigh M. from New Smyrna Beach, Florida

"There is nothing not to like about this resort. Susan and Greg are fantastic hosts and Nancy is by far one of the best yoga Instructors I have ever had the privilege of meeting as a participant in a class. The yoga shala is open air, large, and perfect for the popular daily morning yoga classes. The restaurant at Pranamar has some of the best, if not the best food we have ever tasted in Costa Rica. The bungalows are a true representation of what it would be like to be vacationing in Bali. The grounds are spectacular and the beach directly in front of the hotel boasts some of the best tide pools for snorkeling we have ever seen. It was such a wonderful experience for both my husband and I. We left Pranamar feeling a bit changed. It's what the meaning of vacation should be. Although it may be a tad on the higher side for lodging in Santa Teresa, it is well worth it. You will not be disappointed!"

  • Review by Maegan S. from Santa Clara, Californi

"We stayed at the Pranamar for 3 days, and it was one of our favorite experiences of the whole trip! The staff is so friendly and attentive, the resort itself is beautiful and relaxing, the yoga classes were challenging, and the restaurant was exceptional! It was the best place we ate in all of Costa Rica! The experience was definitely worth the price, the beach was amazing and private and we never felt we needed to leave to experience anything else, because they have the best of everything in Santa Teresa right on the property. Thanks for a great stay, we will definitely be back!"

"My husband, daughter and I stayed at Pranamar for 5 days and enjoyed every minute there. The accommodations are lovely. The beach area is blissful, with hammocks and chairs under beautiful trees which provide just enough shade. The restaurant is excellent, and the yoga classes as well. In particular, we were blown away by the front desk staff who, from the outset, and even after we left, helped us in so many ways, from arranging flights, helping with our car rental, helping find another place to move (when sadly we wanted to stay longer but they were booked solid), and even after we left and were in Tambor, regarding our car rental return. Marcella and Alejandra went above and beyond the call of duty, and are very caring and thoughtful as well, and we can't thank them enough for all they did for us. Dago and Alejandro were also wonderful. We can't wait to return to such a magical place."
