Get ready for an adventure of a lifetime in Namibia! Apart from rejuvenating yoga sessions, you will visit Namibia’s greatest wildlife park for incredible game viewing before heading to Damaraland, one of Namibia’s most scenic areas. Adventurous days lie ahead at the coastal town of Swakopmund, before heading to the iconic Deadvlei / Sossusvlei. Here you become still as you meditate in what is known as the oldest desert in the world. Your last night will be spent at a private game reserve where much needed time will be spent at their Wellness Village.
As you will be visiting all the top locations in Namibia, you will be staying at six different lodges.
Urban Camp is centrally located in the heart of Windhoek. It is the perfect getaway with all the convenience of being in town. Big shady trees, Wi-Fi internet, nice bathrooms, and a sparkling pool. It is a mere 5-minute walk to the legendary Joe’s Beerhouse or a good Portuguese restaurant. And if you really are in a sightseeing mood – it is just a stone-throw away from the city center and most attractions.
Here you will be staying in set up tents comprising of two single beds, warming blanket in winter, and a cooling fan in summer. Comes with towels, powerpoint, light, mini-fridge, water, kettle and lockable cupboard.
Etosha Village uniquely delivers the perfect safari style experience in a private and protected reserve directly adjacent to the Etosha National Park. At Etosha Village, nature and luxury are in perfect harmony through design and comfort.
The lodge has three restaurant seating areas, a sparkling pool plus two smaller pools as well as a well-stocked curio shop and of course the outdoor yoga deck!
The individual luxurious units offer a spacious air-conditioned bedroom and a modern en-suite bathroom with a shower. The patio and outside seating area create an ideal space to sit back, relax, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.
Madisa Camp is hidden between amazing rock formations which are scattered with Bushman Paintings and has privy to an ancient desert elephant route that often gets visited by these beautiful giants. Madisa is a good base camp to explore from as there are very interesting sites in the area such as Twyfelfontein, Brandberg, the Petrified Forest, and much more.
The tents are built cleverly and as eco-friendly as possible around scenic boulder formations each with their own en-suite rock bathroom consisting of a basin, shower, and toilet. Hot water is available at night (solar system) and there are paraffin/solar lighting in the tent and bathroom area.
Desert Breeze offers the ultimate desert experience. A short drive from central Swakopmund, its spectacular location provides peace and tranquility away from the bustling town, and the privilege of savoring the ancient Namib Desert. Surrounded by the colorful and unique architecture contrasting but yet fitting in with the desert landscape, it will soothe any soul. The luxury bungalows with their creative atmosphere and the friendly staff will make your stay one to remember. Breakfast will be at Desert Breeze, lunch and dinner at one of Swakopmund's many cafes and restaurants. Yoga will be held in the desert and the beach.

After a morning yoga session and breakfast, you will head to our next venue close to Etosha National Park. From Windhoek, it’s a 4-hour drive, the perfect time to get to know your fellow yogis, and an introduction to what the week has in store for you while enjoying majestic landscapes and the unique environment of flora and fauna.
After lunch and settling into your luxurious accommodation, you will meet for a sunset yoga session followed by a welcoming ceremony and a mouth-watering dinner under the African sky.
Wake up to a beautiful day in Africa! After a healthy breakfast, you will meet an experienced guide that will take you to Etosha National Park. It is home to hundreds of species of mammals, birds, and reptiles, including several threatened and endangered species such as the black rhinoceros.
Elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, wildebeest, giraffe, hyena, zebra, springbok, kudu, gemsbok, and eland are common in the park which makes game viewing in Etosha a unique experience.
For lunch, you will return to Etosha Village, relax by one of the three swimming pools, read a book, or go on a nature walk. You will meet again for sunset yoga, ending the day with a buffet dinner.
Sunrise yoga on an open-air yoga deck practicing calmness and becoming one with nature, followed by breakfast and a wildlife game drive to Etosha National Park. After a healthy lunch and swim, you can relax before meeting for another yoga session. After dinner, you will visit the neighboring lodge for live African music, a perfect ending to your first four nights in Namibia!
Today you will be heading to Damaraland! After sunrise yoga and healthy breakfast, you will drive through one of Namibia’s most scenic areas to Twyfelfontein. This World Heritage Site comprises of ancient rock engravings, Organ pipes, Burnt Mountains and a Petrified Forest. It is also the most famous rock art concentration in Africa featuring more than 5000 petroglyphs and 200 rock paintings.
From Twyfelfontein it’s an hour's drive to Madisa where you will settle into your tented accommodation, before a meditation session up on the mountains taking in one of the most spectacular sunsets you will encounter.
An early rise for yoga as the sun starts creeping up over the horizon. A time to reflect, breathe, and simply take in the peacefulness of all that surrounds you. It is then time for breakfast before heading to the picturesque coastal town of Swakopmund - where the ocean meets the desert.
The driving time is around four hours, somewhat meditative with forever changing landscapes. Once in Swakopmund, you will enjoy sunset yoga with spectacular views of the Namib dunes followed by a German cuisine dinner.
After a healthy buffet breakfast overlooking the Namib Desert, you will surely be ready for a fun-filled day in Swakopmund. You can choose between a variety of adventurous excursions (optional), from quad biking, fat wheel biking, ocean safaris, dune boarding, horse riding, camel riding, kayaking or surfing. If you would like to observe your surroundings from above, you could even try skydiving or a scenic flight.
After lunch, you can either relax or explore this cute little German town. Sunset yoga will be on the beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Namib Desert followed by your choice of a restaurant.
Time to visit the oldest desert in the world. You will make your way down south to Sossusvlei after morning yoga and breakfast. The drive is around five hours, but the forever changing landscapes surely make it feel a lot shorter.
About halfway, you will stop at the Tropic of Capricorn, take some photos, and have a little picnic before continuing to Sossusvlei - undoubtedly Namibia's most iconic landscape, located in the Namib-Naukluft National Park. The Namib Desert is the oldest desert in the world and stretches over 1500 kilometers with dunes reaching heights of 300 meters.
After settling into Desert Quiver Camp, take some time to relax at the pool while taking in the beauty that surrounds you. Your yoga session will be followed by a buffet dinner at Sossusvlei Lodge – a memorable experience as chefs prepare exquisite food while having magnificent views of the floodlit waterhole.
Early departure to Deadvlei as the gate to the park opens at sunrise. You will spend most of the day in the dunes exploring, and if you are up for it, climb Big Daddy, one of the highest dunes in the world. Returning from your adventurous excursion you will have some time to sit and enjoy lunch in the shade, which is well earned after the morning out in the desert.
Spend the afternoon relaxing or if you simply can’t get enough of what this area has to offer, head off again on an afternoon activity. Early evening yoga to stretch and focus on breathing, taking in the serenity of nature, and simply letting go. Dinner at Sossusvlei Lodge.
After yoga in the stillness of the desert, you will have breakfast and make your way to Gocheganas. Those of you who choose to go on the optional hot air-ballooning will be back in time for the departure. Hot air-ballooning is recommended as the views from above are incredible and one for the books.
The drive is around five hours and you should arrive around lunchtime. After lunch, relax at the pool or enjoy a much-needed massage. If needed, spend some more time at the spa or go on an afternoon game drive (optional extra).
Admire 25 different large game species roaming the 6000-hectare nature reserve, including rhino, bat-eared fox, giraffe, mountain and plains zebra, cheetah, jackal, and leopard, blue, and black wildebeest, eland, oryx, red hartebeest, kudu, springbok, waterbuck, steenbok, duiker, klipspringer, ostrich,, and warthog. A fascinating variety of birds are spread over the reserve and can be spotted at the Wellness Village, as well as at the surrounding water places.

Your last sunrise yoga session. Today marks the end of your yoga retreat in Namibia. The team will transfer you to the airport in time for your departure flights back home. Not only will it be a memorable drive back to the airport, but an unforgettable trip never to be forgotten.

This yoga holiday takes place in Namibia. After your first night in the capital, you will spend three nights at a lodge close to the Southern gate of Namibia’s greatest wildlife park, Etosha National Park.
Etosha National Park is home to 114 free-roaming species of mammals, 340 bird species, 110 reptile species, and 16 amphibian species which make game viewing here a unique experience. You will head to the park early in the mornings with experienced guides and return to the lodge for lunch, relaxation, yoga, beautiful sunsets, and African inspired meals under the stars.
From wildlife at Etosha, you will head to scenic landscapes in Damaraland where you will get the chance to visit ancient Bushman paintings and become still as the sun sets, taking in nothing but space and pure nature.
Swakopmund, with its laid back feel, palm trees, and great restaurants, has various activities to choose from. Whether you want something active or more relaxed, or even a combination, this coastline will surprise you with what it has to offer.
The Skeleton Coast is for the most part open, vast, and undiscovered. Although it may sound like an area with an eerie past, it is indeed an area diverse and full of animal life. The coast itself is inhabited by millions of Cape Fur Seals and a number of shipwrecks.

Since you will be staying at different locations / lodges, food will be different at each place.
Breakfast and dinners at the lodges / venues are usually a wide spread of delicious buffets, whereas lunches are a la carte. Breakfasts consist of a variety of fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, freshly baked bread, spreads, omelets (plus all other egg varieties), muffins, juices, coffees, and teas.
A la carte lunch menus are usually salads or wraps. Buffet dinners at the lodges have a selection of salads, side dishes, soups, meat dishes, freshly baked bread, cheese platters, and desserts. The lodges do cater for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free. Please note, only breakfast and dinners are included at all the lodges. Lunch is at your own cost.
In Swakopmund at the coast, lunches and dinners will be at different cafes and restaurants. Only breakfast included at your accommodation. Lunches and dinners are at your own costs due to there being so many to choose from.
