She originally discovered yoga as a pathway to healing when her father was undergoing cancer treatments, and continues to reveal in how much stronger she feels as a result of her practice as a mother, daughter, friend, and human. She’s deeply inspired by the people she’s met through yoga and honored to practice alongside them.
This retreat will be taking place in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Following the endless seashore and wild jungles on the southernmost tip of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, count on fruit and flowers dripping from the trees, beauty all around, the constant call of the monkeys, and nightly beach gatherings to witness irresistible sunsets and surfers catching the last waves of the day.
At the divine Olam café, where food is medicine, you will be served fresh pressed juices, smoothies, Mediterranean, and Latin American inspired cuisine. Along the winding road, dividing the sea from the trees, find more delicious food than you can fathom for such a tiny surfer’s village (not to mention plenty of places to quench all kinds of thirst).
As outdoor adventurers flocked here, so too did the healers! Expect transformational mind, body, and soul treatments if you’re so inclined. Better yet, treat yourself to a one hour massage for an additional fee of 50 USD with Cody Reed if you reserve it when you register for the retreat.
